What does Sr. and SSM mean? I looked up SSM on an acronym site and there were 125 different meanings

Sr = Sister(as in Nun)
SSM = Society of St. Margaret (The community to which I belong)
St = saint (just in case you are unsure)

Thank you for the clarification, Sr. Barbaranne. I thought Sr. meant sister, but wasn't sure. I thought SSM might mean Society of the Sacred Mission or Society of Social Medicine.
I've submitted Society of St. Margaret as an option for the acronym SSM.
I think they must, as they do better after a snowy winter than one that is simply cold without snow. Snow puts nitrogen from the air into the ground as it melts, and it does insulate, too.
I hope that everyone has a wonderful 2016! When I was in college, I never thought about what life would be like in the early 21st century - now I wonder if life in 2116 will seem as quaint and old fashioned that life in 1916 looks to us.
I do remember reading some books when I was pretty young that were written in the 1950's and 1960's that predicted things like flying cars and moon colonies by now, people working few hours and having a lot of leisure time - time to vacation at those moon colonies.
it is so pretty after it's finished
but hard on the eyes to do
God bless you with all your heart desires and keep you safe
Lots of love Sr. Barbara SSM.
Have a great new year!

Did you ever wonder if the trees enjoy the snow???
