Sure would not want to be in that lighthouse when those waves attack it. It needs to be built much higher above sea level than it is. Looks very dangerous. But, it still is pretty and the scene makes a good puzzle.
Much of the coast of Holland is at or below sea level it would be hard to build a lighthouse on higher ground if there is none to build on in the area where it is needed.

I always dreamed of living in a lighthouse as a kid, probably because I grew up in the landlocked Midwest. Shoot--I don't even know how to swim! But a lighthouse was my dream house. Of course I had no idea what it was really like.
