Love fall leaves. My aunt used to gather them for me and send them to be in Orlando so I could decorate my bulletin boards. Many children had never seen fall leaves.
What a sweet memory. I've only seen very little, living in the desert part of AZ. I once went up north and saw some Aspen with golden and orange leaves. They were just beautiful. It was just a stand of trees though, not a large area. I'd love to witness something like that.

You live where I have visited many times. I would like to see cactus in bloom. Have never been there at that time of year. Might go to see my cousin in Michigan in the fall--depends on how I feel at that time. I haven't seen her in about 10 years. Talked to her the other night for about an hour. I would like to meet her half of the family.

I hope you have the opportunity to go, cousins are pretty special people! You can talk about the "old" days, and family members-how much they meant to you, and the silly or sweet things they did. As we get older, we have fewer people we can share our different pasts and experiences with.
