Sorry for your lost. I lost my husband June 2010 suddenly. I visit the spot his ashes are scattered beneath a tree at Bredon Hill the view is spectacular and at this time of year the colours are beautiful.

Corrina52, my heart goes out to you. It is a very difficult time, so give yourself time. It is a very deep hole in your heart. I lost mine 11 years ago and at times it still is difficult. God is good and He will care for you at this time.

Sorry to hear of your loss; prayers to comfort you. I was fortunate to have had 50 yrs. and 1 day with mine. Still miss him even though it's been 12 yrs since losing him. Wishing you comfort and blessings in the coming days.

Tia, in our lives, we expect to lose our parents, we anticipate the loss of a spouse and we never, ever think, we'll lose a child before we die. Your husband is held in God's hands, close to His heart. If you're very still, you may feel the brush of his angel wings. My prayers go out that you find peace.

May the peace of God and His comfort be with you when grief comes at and unexpected time or in an old familiar place. Grief takes time to heal. Let no one say that it is time for it to be over, that is not how it works.
