Quick puzzle. Just discovered that I have a shattered glass pane in one of my back door windows--and I leave Tuesday for Ct. Have covered it over. Hope it will last until I get back. Or hopefully my handyman can put a new pane in--or a new door Monday. That door really needs to be replaced.
Never heard of this creature, and from the looks of it I don"t want to meet it either. Please don"t call it cute with those awful horns. Have a very blessed day stay safe and happy. God bless
It's so odd, I had to look it up! I can hardly believe that those are his teeth!!!
The babirusas are found in the Indonesian islands of Sulawesi, Togian, Sula and Buru. The upper canines of male babirusa emerge vertically from the alveolar process, penetrating though the skin and curving backward over the front of the face and towards the forehead. The lower canines also grow upwards. The canines of the female are either reduced or absent

Thank you for the info, his tusks look as if they will take his eyes out, won't be much use in a fight. Do you think that Noah had pigs in the ark, being jewish?

Of course they did! Genesis 7:2 "Of every clean beast you shall take to you by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female."

I thought that the pig of any kind was and is considered unclean, not kosher in the Jewish religion. Please put me right if need be

You are correct! But God wanted all the animals preserved. KJV is sometimes a bit hard to understand. The other translations say seven pairs of clean animals and just one pair of the unclean.
In Acts 10 God tells Peter to eat "unclean" things because he wants him to understand that the old ways are gone to prepare him to go to a gentile's (Cornelius') house. So until then, pigs, mixing milk with meat, hanging out with gentiles, etc. were all not good!
That's why in Romans 11 it says that we Christians were grafted into the vine that used to be just the Jewish people before Jesus came. Unfortunately, the Jewish people didn't believe He was the Messiah and some of those "branches were broken off."

"Never wrestle with pigs. You both get dirty and the pig likes it." (George Bernard Shaw)
A double meaning methinks.
Have a wonderful day and God bless.
