Chiiiiiiirrrrrr-up little guy. Your mama's coming with a big fat grub. He looks like he's in the robin family but he's got yellow instead of orange underneath. Are there any robins like that down under?
Wishing you all a cheery day.
Pixi, I was thinking it looks like an immature goldfinch.

Not sure of the yellow variety but have a scarlet robin. If you Google it or Bing it, you will see how pretty it is. Hugs.

Thanks Aknan and Aussie. Have google. Will search.
We have goldfinches aplenty, aknan and it's too "beefy" for ours. Bill is wrong also.

Looked on google. Yes those are gorgeous birds, Aussie. And it turns out there is a yellow breasted robin in Australia but it doesn't have wing bars like the puzzle so I googled immature yellow breasted birds and think I have a match with the American western tanager, female.

Very good, pixi! I forget about tanagers, as we don't have them up here.
