Don't care to do things like that. Probably did some when I was young, but don't really remember doing things like that. Liked other crafty things instead.
I crocheted a blanket for my mother when I lived in Britain. I didn't know about squares so I went around and around in a big square. I think I was about 9 or so. Mom gave it back to me when she moved from Northern Ontario to Southern Ontario. I sent that blanket from Britain to Canada. She's had it that long! I'm now 55.

I did similar stuff to the ones above. I did a latch hook rug that my mom made into a pillow. She gave it to me as a xmas gift. Then I did a huge one that was a lion. Met a woman last week who couldn't get over my age. She thought I was 14 and I'm 57. I was having lunch with hubby and she asked if we were married.

I have made several latch hook rugs--my first one was 72" round--a seagull one.I start big. Had to sew backing together to do it. Still use it. It's on the floor of my computer room--about 40 years old Also did a big wall hanging that is above my fireplace that's about 20. I'm 81 now.

I've got several latch hook kits that I haven't touched downstairs. My husband got a little one that took his attention once or twice. It now floats around the room! And for me, there's a cute kitten one that I could talk to myself about making. When it gets cooler, I think. I took a break from crafting when I was in college. Totally different to the idea of college to those in America, btw. Two years and I had my diploma. That's when I went to Toronto after I graduated from college.
That was rather difficult in 110 trapezoid. Even so, this is becoming my favorite cut because it is so challenging. My typing is also becoming very challenging because of the tremors in my hands. It seems that at least once a sentence my tremors cause me to "stutter" on a leetter (like I just did there) and I have to go back and erase the extra letter. Frustrating as well as challenging! My neurologist calls them "essential tremors" but I do not consider them at all essential!
God bless you all.
