We visited a hunting lodge that had been repurposed as an elephant sanctuary in Victoria. We had a memorable morning ride then a great breakfast. When an elephant decides that a tree looks good to eat, you just hang on for dear life as she shakes it loose.
Looks pretty young but already lost part of a tusk. Wonder where the family went. Wonder if there'll be any left by the end of this century.
Let's hope the good Lord has a plan for saving them.
I hope we all are saved. I'd sooner see everybody get to Heaven--good, bad or ugly, than see anyone go to Hell.
Beautiful wish, pixipixil! And I couldn't agree more. Have a beautiful day!

I agree with you completely, pixipixil. A couple nights ago, I watched the movie "Askatri." (I think that was the name. At the end, there was a post about the plight of the elephants. I was astounded to learn only about 1/2% of the original count remains today. Tragic, but I believe the Lord has a place for such a noble creature. Elephants make such faithful mothers.
Sorry, that's the search link for the movie. This is the direct link, if you care to watch it. It's a good story.

Everything God has made comes from His loving heart. How can such a heart let what it created go out of existence? He does not forget so all that is lives in Him forever.
Let's hope the good Lord has a plan for saving them.
