From tremendous - I saw your note to me about how close we were in our completion times. In May I had a rather a really bad reaction to Sulpha drug and ended up on my floor in a delirium a day and half and 8 days in the hospital. Recovered well but have squashed nerves in my arm and carpel tunnel in my right arm and I am so right handed doing anything! So if you see longer times from me that is why. But I watch your scores and I am 5 mins
slower than you. Try to see if I can see I am still improving in hand movement. Life is always testing us and God blesses us so much we have nothing to complain about.

Tremendous ---- So sorry you are being tested. I had an experience years ago that has helped me through some trials. It was on a trip to Scandinavia where one of the highlights for me was a visit to Millesgarden-- an outdoor museum of the sculpture of Carl Milles. One stands out in my memory and helps me at the most unexpected times. It is a huge outstretched stone hand --- palm up --- with the life-size figure of a man standing in the palm. "Man In The Hand Of God." That has helped me so many times. I picture my self in the hand of God.

Tremendous, Sorry to hear about Sulphur reaction. That was terrible. I had a bad reaction years ago so that is on my list to doctors. It was nothing as bad as yours. I think I just had some hives. I really don't remember.

Didn't get puzzles done yesterday. Found this today about poinsettias. I can't keep plants in the house because I have one of my cats that likes to nibble on them.
"Keep poinsettias vibrant with ice cubes. This tropical plant perfers soil that's neither too wet nor too dry. The easiest way to give your poinsettia a steady drink is with ice cubes. Use one ice cube per inch in pot diameter. For a 5" pot, place five ice cubes on the soil per week. The gradually melting ice will keep the plant moist without drowning the roots.
My mother used this trick with her orchids. They were vibrant and bloomed like crazy. BTW, alstromeiria (sp? ) cut flowers are good around cats - they just don't like them, so the flowers are left alone. They also last a long time for cut flowers - around two weeks - and remind me of little lilies.

Would you say they are the bells of the ball...the Christmas ball in this case.
