I lived with my oldest sister when I was young
she would go in the woods and pick huckleberries by the bucket full
she would can them and were so good with hot biscuit
sometimes she would make biscuit puddings
this is my mystery for today
brought back some good memories

I've eaten gooseberry, but neither one of these.

Make sure you pick your gooseberries when they are ripe as they can be verry sour. Happy baking all.

Now this is one pie I do like you have to be sure you do put on an apron when dealing with the blue berries as theyn can get quite messy some times.Love cooking at the moment iam bread making. Thank you for this.
