Raspberries contain potassium, vitamins C and E, selenium, beta carotene, lutein, lycopene, zeaxanthin, and flavonoids. The berries are also a good source of fiber.
Oh my those do look delicious! Raspberries are one of my favourite fruits. They're starting to be raised here in S. Spain but they're awfully expensive, 2 Euros for 4 oz or so. Blueberries and some blackberries too.
Raspberries were on sale here for $1. for 6 oz. That would be.90 euros. Blackberries and blue berries were the same price. There were berrylicious. I have raised red raspberries.

Buy a plant and put it in. They require nothing but space as they will keep spreading by rhizome until you have a large patch. I had to dig mine out as it kept putting roots in the middle of my holly bushes.

Hard to do when you live in a 600 sq ft third-floor apartment with no terrace, Pixi, but thanks for the information.

Sorry, Orinoco. If you had mentioned that before I had forgotten. I once wrote a kid's book about a boy who lived in an apartment house and wanted a garden. He got permission to plant on the roof.
I have since lost the manuscript. I can sympathize.

You would be able to borrow one of my books from Kindle for free. It's called Kate's Kaboodle. Please don't pass around my real name, tho. I suppose given that info anyone wishing to find out what it is would be abe to so I hope you are sincere about wanting to read my stories. There are 5 short stories and several poems. I am not on any social media and don't want to be.

Parson, you could have just borrowed it. Thank you.
It is most frustrating to have "published" a work and have it buried so deeply under thousands of other works that it might as well not exist. If you like it would you mind posting a star? I think it helps move a piece more to the front. Thanks again.

Not a problem, but it deserves more than one star.

Hi Elijah 13. I just got back from our annual trip and see that you are interested in my book. It's called Kate's Kaboodle and is a collection of poems and short stories I wrote. If you have a Kindle I think you can use the library option to borrow it for free.
My mother used to make the best raspberry preserves. Seedy, but delicious. Of course, supermarkets carry the seedless variety. There's nothing like the sweet scent in the air of berries cooking for jam!
My shopping list get longer when I stop to do the Puzzle something more on my list, Raspberries, Thanks for the Puzzle it is really nice and fast to do.
Have a raspberry day!
