That is a big fortress. Pray for me. I have outpatient surgery tomorrow--kidney stones! Had about 4 hours of pain last night. Had to take pain medication. Fine today so far. Have to change all my bed linen, take a special shower tonight and tomorrow morning before going. My neice is taking me. Probably no puzzles tomorrow!
May God be with you and guide the surgeon's hands. My best friend had kidney stones removed and I know how painful it was for her, but after the surgery she didn't look back. Little hugs this morning.

You are welcome Elijah and pleased you are much more comfortable. Hugs.
Good afternoon my friends. I need your prayers really bad, not so much for me but my husband and other families. Our son passed away 7 years come this Tuesday morning. He shot himself on the night of the 19th and passed away 5:15 on the 20th and his poor dad witnessed the whole thing. He begged Jake to put the gun down but he just pulled the trigger and there was nothing anyone could do. I was outside his bedroom when he did and only heard the popping noise. Joe, my husband has been having a really bad time right now as he keeps reliving it over in his head. I am trying to stay strong for him. He does not need me falling apart right now.
I am advocating for parents who have lost their children the way Joe and I did. The National Suicide Awareness Foundation has been a God-send to me. Every night on the 20th I light a candle in Jake;s memory as well as for all the families of such tragedies. Since this is National Suicide Awareness month, could you all please light a candle for all those who have lost loved including for those you might also know. It can even be a battery operated one, which is what I use. I really appreciate this and I am so sorry to burden you all again this year like I did last year. Love you all and God bless you.
So sorry, mamag, what a traumatic experience for both you and your husband. You are very brave, and a loving and caring Wife and Mother. God bless you and your family, I will try to help by keeping you and yours in my daily prayers.

I'm so sorry for your loss, which is almost as bad on this anniversary as it was then. God bless you all

That must have been a very traumatic experience for both of you. Does anything help your husband or you deal with this? Have you ever thought about talking to high school kids at an assembly about your experience and how your son's suicide has effected you? Unfortunately, a lot of teens commit suicide and, perhaps, if they heard your experience, that might just save a life or two.
I hope the best for the both of you and you can experience some peace of mind.

Jamie, I have not been able to talk to anyone in schools yet, although that would be a great idea. My husband does not see the Dr. until Nov.and when he goes, I will bring this up to her. His Dr. may have to give him something to help fight this. Our son's birthday is also in Nov. He would have been 28. This is just so hard right now. We are both trying to keep busy to take our minds off of things but it is still there. Thank you for the kind words. God bless you so much.

Some friends of mine just went through this type of tragedy in their family recently. Per your request, I will light a candle for both of your families tonight. Sending big {{hugs}} mamag. God bless.

Thank you jazz. That would be greatly appreciated. Praying for your friends also. It seems everyday the list just keeps getting longer. The Suicide Prevention Foundation is trying to get the message across but there are too many to be reached. I try to do my part my posting everything I get on my Facebook page but I feel this is not enough. Thank you for showing your care. God bless you and have a wonderful day.

Father, we're grateful that we will have a place with You one day.
Thank You that You will fill us with joy in Your Presence.
This is the day the Lord has made,
Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
God bless you all on this beautiful sunny Sunday.
God bless you, too, Jingles.
