Brings back a few memories. My ex had relatives in Humble, Texas and their children owned a rabbit. Never having held one, of course it was imperative that I did so. No one warned me that when they get warm and comfortable there is something inevitable which happens - you guessed it, suddenly felt a warm wet patch developing and I can't begin to tell you how quickly the rabbit left the warm confines of my lap lol. So that was the first and last time I held a rabbit hahahaha.
Hope those who are affected by the snow storm are all safe. Take care and God bless. (9 Feb)
9 Feb: lol, aussie - warm fuzzies are nice, but warm soggies? Nah!!! I used to milk a few cows: the spring grass makes them a bit "loose", and one day as I was driving them into the milking-shed, my dear old " Minnie" lifted her tail and shot the lot neatly into my overall pocket!! Nearly did myself a mischief laughing :-))

Rabbits can be cute and soft, but feeling that extra "warmth" can spoil that cuteness pretty fast!
The snowstorm has left our area and it is sunny today.
My husband is outside plowing, blowing and shoveling the snow away.

I have a cow pattie story for you. We were staying at a realtors because we were caught between sales. The buyer of our house threatened to pull out if we didn't close on time and the party holding the house we wanted wouldn't close. The realtor had two sales on the line and let us use their upstairs while we waited. His wife was very nice and they had a farm with cows and goats. One afternoon she and her kids and I went into the meadow to fly a kite. While she was flying it for her 8 year old daughter her 3 year old started playing with the cow droppings which were dry but....
After that she decided she'd have a barbecue and had her daughter set up and cook franks on a grill while she made salad. I was sitting on the deck with the salad in a big bowl and the little guy came over and started to play with the salad, then got interested in something else. My husband came home and dinner was served. I tried my best to signal not to take any salad but--too late. He took a plateful...and wolfed it before I could stop him which was impossible as the wife was there eating with us.

Thank you for the good wishes. My community (on the coast of Massachusetts) had 30 inches of snow. Fortunately we were among the first to get power and heat back on. It was cold!

Hi Jamp, so glad you are OK. Bet it was really cold and lots of wooly jumpers on. We don't realize how much we use or miss something until we don't have it. Take care.

10 Feb: Logansport, it wasn't so much a cow pattie as a cow ploppy!! Thank goodness I was wearing bib-front overalls - easy to remove!

Same with chickens, but I still love them. Hoping our nice days don't ruin our spring flowers.
