Don't have a calico one. Mine are "tabby, black and white w/beige body. My tabby and black ones are very sociable. My white one only comes to me. Anyone else comes, she hides until they leave.
I have a Calico cat and Mai-Mai, (My-My) is the most friendliest loving cat I have known. She greets everybody that comes in the door adult or child. She even enjoys being carried around the house, and begs to be held all the time.
My sister has a calico cat and she would be the unfriendliest cat I have ever been around. She will let you stroke her, then lashes out, so of course no-one touches her.

I took care of someones cat - it was a Calico. Even encountered my own cat - not a Calicio with this type of behavior.

I disagree with George Clooney. Sometimes you learn that you should have kept your mouth shut. And that is learning quite a bit. I seldom get in trouble for the things I didn't say when I was angry. ;-)

Oh I'm sure I made others but this one I did infront of family. My sister tried to cover it up but I didn't pick up on it. We were on vacation with our grandparents and my grandmother asked us how my mom like a certain place.

My friend had a cat like that, Aussie. After she allowed a person to pet her she would wait until they turned around and began walking away. She ran and grabbed my lower leg with both front feet, claws out. She had quite a war whoop, also. I believe feline mental illness must be the reason for such behavior. Good thing I had jeans on instead of shorts.

I think Calico cats are very precious. My first TWO were that kind. Tiffany was tortoise-shell colored and lived to almost 16. Jazzy had basically white, but had "some" black 'n" orange coloring, and made it to her 17th birthday on 3-16-2010, but later went to Rainbow Bridge for pets on 7-21-2010 at 4 months past her birthday.
I adopted my current cat---Oreo---a black and white calico with some light orange---five years ago at a local pet shelter---when she was TEN years old. So this coming September 6, she will be 15 years old.
My cousin had a calico cat and her name was "Patches! " She was a very sweet cat, and very fertile...she had more than 12 litters of kittens! (That was before all the spaying hoop-la...)
