My dear friends all your prayers are needed please not for me but for my friends daughter. She has Retts Syndrome is in hospital with severe pneumonia and has been having many severe seizures, her mum has been with her for a week now and the crash team was called last night. Hope they all get the strength from some where

Thanks all of you her name is Sam (Samantha) No Aussie there is no cure she can do nothing for herself has no swallowing reflex muscular skeletral defects cannot talk along with lots of other things but she is a happy 29yr old. Life expectancy for somebody with Retts syndrome unfortunately is mid 40's

My friends daughter is improving she is responding to the treatment for her pneumonia and the seizures are less often and now only mild. Thanks to you all for your prayers and best wishes

Update: Had an interview for substitute teacher this morning. I am gearing towards pre-K up to third grade. I never thought this is where my associates would lead me. I wanted to be a drug and rehab therapist but I think this might work better for me especially after losing my son. It would bring up too many bad memories of what mental illness can do to a person. Having a son with bipolar, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and other mental illnesses might make it to hard. Some of you know what I have been dealing with and I hope and pray that God is leading me in the right direction. I am even leaning toward getting my Bachelors degree in teaching. I hope I am not disappointing my son because I wanted to help others cope with what I and my family had and is still going through. Please keep me on your prayers as I enter another chapter in my life. God bless each and every one of you. Love you all so much!!!!!

Mamag15 Perhaps working with the young may provide them with life coping skills as part of their learning, and who knows how this may assist them as they grow up. It may help them to avoid reaching a stage where they would ever need rehab.Whichever way your life is going I'm sure you will be guided, used for good, feel loved and prayed for. Prayers x

Mamag, life leads us in unexpected directions sometimes. It sounds like you're on the right path and I offer prayers that you can feel God's hand guiding you. Thank you for all your kind words and prayers. I believe this is where God is leading me. It is through a company called "Sources4Teachers". I have never been an official teacher but my interviewer stated that this is one way to get my foot in the door. Next step will be looking for a school so I can get my teaching degree. You are all so sweet and kind. Have a blessed as day as this is the day the Lord has made. :)
