Hi kycowgirl. Glad to see you back.

Nope still here, but may not do a 300 in one today, bet you can guess which one. Spent the morning w/husband at the eye drs, he had to get the shot (to back of eye) this time, gone all morning, about 1/2 hr. drive each way & 2+hrs for appt. Now he will sleep until tomorrow.

Wasn't going to tell you, but now you will know how really, really dumb I am. I did that other one in a 300, think it was my longest time for this size. I did a 520 this weekend that took less time than this did, I also did that one in a 1008 (it did take longer)

No, you aren't dumb. I can't do 1008 piece. My computer is too small. About your hubby.....what is wrong with his eyes, if you don't mind me asking. A shot behind eye sounds painful....did they numb it somehow?

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD). They have to dilate his eye, then numb it and then the medication is injected to the back chamber of the eye. Basically it is keeping him from loosing the sight in that eye. He will be back to normal, usually by tomorrow evening. We have an appoinment every month, but he has not had to have a shot since July. He also broke is neck in '89 and they didn't think he would ever walk again, but he can (not well or fast), has had to start using 1 crutch in the last few years - also has started using the electric carts in the last couple of years when we go to the big stores.

So sorry to hear of his troubles. I may have a torn retina....go back to Dr. Monday for another exam. He didn't see it torn last visit but been having trouble with white flashes from side of eye. He instructed me to not lift anything heavier than a quart of milk, lower my head, make sudden turns with my head. Have followed instructions to the "T" so hoping there isn't a tear.

Amberjoy, I think that puzzle was a little tough on most puzzlers. :)
