I chose one of the randoms that were suggested--castle in the Loire valley. I always read the comments and at that time Barbaranne was going to get a skin graft. She had that leg ulcer that wouldn't heal. Does anyone know how she is these days?
I was wondering about Barbaranne, too, pixi. She did have a skin graft that seemed to work, but the ulcer broke out around it after a few months. Last I heard, she was going in for more surgery. I'm afraid we may have lost her, as she had several underlying health issues. I've also forgotten the name of her order, so I can't check that way. Does anyone else remember it?

I've been thinking of her lately. I hope she is doing well.
Never been on one of these and at this stage in my life, will never again be a possibility. Oh, well, there are much worse things! Have a wonderful day and may it be filled with blessings.
Oh, these are such fun! Like yuo, nborchardt, my days of water sides (or any other, for that matter) are over. The hip replacement made that too dangerous, as I could put too much pressure on the joint. And, I'm 70...
