Have been here and toured it with my sister. Lovely inside. Don't care for all the gold trim outside--but they didn't consult me! HA!

I like the colors and of course I like gold, there is so much I do like, that it is har to say what the overall felling I have. It's just plain gaudy. If there was about one third of the trimming, it would be beautiful. Enjoyed putting it together even if it is very distasteful.

Nice break to do puzzles online. A lot of the jigsaws I do have detail like this. I always ask myself what was I thinking because it seemed like such fun at the time. Don't get me wrong, they are fun. I got into these when I was a kid and still do them to this day when I have time, which lately isn't much. My brain draws me to the hard, goofy ones that nobody else wants to do. I think they're cool. When I'm done I take a pic (if I remember), tear it apart, and pass it on. Then just when I think I can't top the last one I did, lo and behold, the next one I pick I always think the last one was easier.

Much harder than I expected. I always think of Russians as serious but look at the whimsical color of this extravaganza. They certainly went whole hog for the French influence. Good puzzle.
