When I had my dairy farmlet, I had a herb garden. I used to dry them on a rack above the wood-range, and make teas: nettle (very good for you and nice when sweetened with red clover), peppermint, pineapple mint, chamomile.....it was fun!

Trynfindit, it was in Taranaki, New Zealand. I milked a dozen cows. Used to put coats on them in bad weather - they rewarded me with great butterfat! They were so quiet I could go and cuddle them in the paddock :-))

I used to date a guy whose parents had a dairy farm. Then one weekend - he invited me to stay the weekend. One day he told me he was sick of eating potatoes every day.
