I enjoy doing the trees, as I like all the different colours, each one has there own beauty, a big thankyou for all the varietyand the different jigsaws we get.Santa.
It looks as three trees have grown very close to each other and have become one.Reminds me of the Holy Trinity, three in one and one in three. We have one that as done this in the garden, it's quite old, each part of the tree as different coloured berries and when it is ripe it looks stunning, the berries are yellow, orange, and red, the birds strip the berries in order. Red first then orange and lastly the yellow ones.
May you have a day filled with Blessings. Hugs.
Do you know what kind they are, Barbaranne? It sounds beautiful.

Sorry for taking so long to answer your question, the trees were 3 types of "Coton-easter" planted close to each other about 20 years ago, they can have some nasty thorns just beware.

I have one in our yard. It has no thorns so it's a different species of cottoneaster. It has lovely dainty pink flowers and then gets red berries. Lovely. The trouble was yellow jackets kept nesting under it and the branches weren't shady enough to stop the grass and weeds from growing beneath it. I would try to weed and get stung by the yellow jackets. I finally removed it but have a small shoot I planted in another spot that is still hanging on.

We have cotoneaster as a hedge, too, pixi. Love it when the leaves turn in fall. They're such a pretty orangy-rust color.
miss them
