My favorite pie would be Apple, then cherry. This one look so good. I have some cherries in the fridge. Maybe I'll make something with them later tonight. :) Have a good evening. :)

We had that storm last evening. It's been a weird summer! So hot and humid with frequent, short lived, but terribly damaging storms. PS I'll take apple or peach pie, but this cherry does look pretty yummy!

Oh lydiagintn, Peach Pie! Have not had that in over a year. Peaches are in season now. Have to go to the produce stand, see if they have some Georgia peaches to make a pie! :))
Our weather has been terrible, storms everyday. More rain on our leaking roof, more of a drip, but still. Had two different people look at the roof, another coming in to check it out. Hopefully it will be fixed next week. Praying we will be able to dry out soon.

I love freestone peaches. They are larger, easier to remove from the stone, and taste best.

I am near Nashville and we get amazing Georgia peaches from "The Peach Truck". They said next week is their last week of the season and the best ones are gone.....so sad :(

Freestone peaches are very nice for cutting, so easy to work with. They do taste great. :)
