I made a ton of these along with different goodies for Christmas this year. I haven't done any baking in a very long time. I had a lot of fun with it though.
This is a little hard on your eyes looking at the Cookies for a long time but I enjoyed putting it together now I will go and get my coffee and Cookies.
Just made chocolate chip cookies yesterday. However, these are ones you just cut the squares and cake them. They are "Nestles" brand. Delicious! This puzzle took me forever. Had to save it twice, but was determined to finish it. I don't think I have ever done one here with 108 pieces and then I had to pick one with all the same blends of color! I'm learn--maybe!
Used to buy cookies that had everything - oatmeal, chocolate chips, walnuts - they were called Cowboy cookies. Have used and made stuff from King Arthur Flour website. Have even contacted them regarding baking questions. Those bakers are so helpful! If something doesn't turn out they'll brain storm with to figure out what went wrong.
I love chocolate chip cookies, but homemade ones! I have a great recipe and I bake them on my name day to give to my friends...we have the tradition to give to our friends, family and colleagues sweets or pastries as a thank you for their wishes..
Sounds like a nice tradition. I just got an oatmeal chocolate chip recipe I want to try.

Interesting! I wonder if it is the same. Mine came from the King Arthur Flour website. They make such good flour and so many kinds of it.

My recipe is from a Greek cooking website! the sugar is granulated (but I use half granulated and half brown). I also use walnuts

Mine calls for both kinds of sugar as well. Maybe King Arthur flour borrowed the idea from a Greek website! Walnuts sound good in it. I think I'll make some tomorrow. It is our "Labor Day, " a sort of end of summer holiday.

When we are baptized we get the name of a saint. the church celebrates the memory of some saints on each day of the year. For example, my name day is on Saint George's day (April 23), because when I was baptized, I got the name Georgia.

Well, he has gained a little in the past year, but it's because he's not as active as he used to be, don't you know. Hope your computer gets back quickly, aussie! Hugs.
Look nice but that is all now that biscuits are a no no, life does deal one with some blows and at present it seems to be constantly knocking me back.
Blessing on you all.
