I was tempted to see if there was a jump start of sales at a nearby drug store, but, I'll wait until tomorrow after my doctor's appointment. Another option is going to the Russell Stover outlet store - they have a bunch of plain boxes filled with rejected candy, but, I think those are boxes of one type of candy.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to get to the store for the candy and then when I did, I had to focus on other stuff. Next year.
Happy Valentine's Day every one. It was minus 18 degrees this morning but I can stay inside and just enjoy the sun coming thru the windows.

It was warmer here in Michigan this morning. It was 8 degrees. The sun is shining this afternoon and the snow & ice are melting off the deck. Only 6 days till my birthday & 35 days until spring. I'm just waiting for warmer weather but we can't complain about the weather this winter. We haven't had much snow....yet! Happy Valentine's Day to all. An extra special Heart filled wish to Kevin and his staff.

Happy almost birthday Annie. How old will you be?
We visited Michigan--upper peninsula. Saw Marquette and the Pictured Rocks via boat in Munising. I like to check out the weather in places I have visited and that part of Michigan sure gets cold. There's a restaurant just up the road from the boat launch for the Pictured Rocks that makes the BEST French fries I have ever had anywhere.

My son might disagree w/you, he flew in last week to Grand Rapids for southern Calif...got off the plane w/just his light jacket on...he is flying out today to Miss. He is hopping all over the country this year so far.
