My family all loves Christmas. It's my favorite time of the year. Having our tree covered with ornaments which all have meaning and a story, a nice fire (when cooler weather permits), each of us thinking about the birth of Jesus and being grateful for all of our blessings.
More than a decade ago I put a limit on a present at $25 which greatly reduces anyone being swamped by commercialism. And it's interesting to see how creative gift-giving becomes.
