The song is called Blue Skies and it's sung by Willie Nelson
Lyrics
Blue skies smilin' at me
Nothin' but blue skies do I see
Bluebirds singin' a song
Nothin' but bluebirds all day long
Never saw the sun shinin' so bright
Never saw things goin' so right
Noticing the days hurrying by
When you're in love, my how they fly
Blue days, all of them gone
Nothin' but blue skies from now on
(Blue skies smilin' at me
Nothin' but blue skies do I see)
Never saw the sun shinin' so bright
Never saw things goin' so right
Noticing the days hurrying by
When you're in love, my how they fly
Blue days, all of them gone
Nothin' but blue skies from now on
Nothin' but blue skies from now on

I lived in Canada for two years and my husband and I went on a motorcycle trip which took us through Illinois. Hugs.

I usually don't mind living in Illinois, but this year we went from winter to summer......I miss spring! Part of my hatred of winter is living 17 years in Honduras in Central America. I learned to love hot!

I love visiting Chicago, but you couldn't pay me to live there!
Lovely reminder to keep our eyes on Heaven today. Thank the Lord we have had lots of rain the past 2 months, which we sorely needed.
My pastor Vicente is doing very well, he's actually put on weight and is getting his old groove back. Now his wife seems to be dealing with depression, or supressed anger, resentment or something. Probably now that the pressure is off she is processing quite a few things. Pray for Charo if you can spare some, that the Lord would renew the joy of her salvation.
Absolutely will join with you and others in prayers for Charo. My beloved husband was ill for a very long time. I fought for his life for so long that when the battle was over, I was still in the "fight" mode. It had become second nature to me. Took me a while, but with God's help I overcame that, just as she will, I'm sure. Give her plenty of mercy, grace, gentleness, and pure love, it'll help her along the way. :)

Quite often, a caregiver suffers when the patient no longer needs care. Several carers have told me they fight feelings of uselessness, of bouts of anger for no reason and a lack of purpose in their lives. Prayers for Charo to work through her new situation in life and prayers for Vicente to understand and help her.

Maybe all of her feelings are from her dealing with his cancer. It's quite painful to watch someone you love go thru it. I watched my father go thru it - everyone in this town would ask me how he's doing. Then after he passed I'd bump into people that knew him. They'd ask how's your dad doing? I'd have to tell them the update as painful as it was.

Thank you friends. Rahrah, that's probably it. Also her two daughters have toddlers and I think she has not accepted being put in the "grandma" category yet. Carolsapple, that is why I chose to wear black for a couple of months after my father died following a long illness; here in Spain people do wear mourning and when my associates saw me in black, they knew.
"Nothing but blue skies do I see". You will have me humming that all day now jas hahahah. I forget the name of the song, but am sure someone on here knows. Hugs.

I love that song
"Too many people overvalue what they are not and undervalue what they are." —Malcolm Forbes
"To understand the heart and mind of a person, look not at what he has already achieved, but at what he aspires to do." —Kahlil Gibran
Good night and God bless. Hugs.
