I love collie dogs but they are so much work to keep their coats nice.

What a gorgeous coat he has--I'm pretty sure it's a male from his pose. He looks like a lion. I bet he won awards at the shows. We never entered our dogs in shows but I worked with people who did. They wanted top honors in order to start charging big prices for stud fees (or whatever you call it with dogs).

Lassie come home! Loved that show. As kids we were only allowed to watch certain tv shows and this and Ed Sullivan were top on the list! Am I dating myself? Loved it! Thanks Crazy people!

Toadalove this was our show too...Lassie, Rintintin, and I always loved horses too. Lone Ranger's Silver, and Toronado the black stallion of Zorro...there is one tv station showing the lr. I guess Disney has the b&w Zorro copyright with Guy williams.

This reminds me of the show Lassie. How I loved that show as a child and always found collies to be a wonderful dog.

believe it or not they still show lassie on the TV, and still makes oldie and the young have very weepy eyes, love these old films.
