In one of my 'early days' apartments I had coloured bottles in the windows. Someone told me it was 'poor woman's stained glass'. I loved the sun shining through them.
K12shoes --- That remind me of our kitchen when I was growing up. My mother had a collection of little glass bottles, candle holders, you-name-it, in all bright colors. She had them on two window sills and they made a happy kitchen!
We had 5 days of in the 70's and now it is blowing away....sigh......we knew it wouldn't last, but hope always springs eternal. It's no suppose to get above 50, if we are lucky, tomorrow. Have blessed days, sumsetsky and pizipixil. And a ranbow-colored day would be lovely.

Black Cats and White,
All happy and purring from morning till night,
And though they do mischief sometimes, which is wrong,
They're so pretty, you cannot be cross with them long. - Nursery Rhyme"
Wishing you a rainbow-colored day.
