Looks like those tires are wrapped in crepe paper. Makes a nice puzzle but couldn't be much use for anything else. I enjoy all the colors. Must be for some kind of display.
We have had a week of rain and except for a day or two here and there will have another one next week. The weeds and vines are growing like crazy. Once the sun finally comes out there wilol be tons to do.
Have a good night all.
Well, at least you won't be bored - and you'll sleep soundly at night, too!

You've got that right. I would be bored cutting down the vines except that I put on earphones and listen to audiobooks while I work.
Know any good adventure or mystery books...or classics? No love stories tho.

Clan Of The Cave Bear Series by Jean M. Auel. A lot to take in but wonderful.

Also, Diana Gabaldon's wonderful Outlander series. That'll take you through next year, too...Not a fan of audio books. I detest being read to and was like that even as a small child.

I do a lot of traveling by vehicle from WA to AZ. Perfect time to listen to audio books. It is a 24 hour drive. Two full days on the road.

I used to be that way, aknan. Then I happened on a book or two that had been read so masterfully I became a convert. I find I love certain readers. My favorite is George Guidall. On the other hand there are some I cannot tolerate. They can spoil a book in a series I have enjoyed for years that used to have another of my favorites Barbara Goldblat. She is one of the few women who can also do men's voices convincingly. Once I was listening to an espionage novel and there was a single reader doing a dialog between four different nationalities and handling the change in accent without a pause. It left me speechless.
I was never a sports fanatic and missed the whole high school scene of rooting for the football team and trying out as a cheerleader. I couldn't see anything interesting in it. Then I listened to a John Grisham called "Bleachers" which dealt with that scene and I was transported into the mindset of those HS kids and really got what all the excitement was about. (Same Grisham that writes all the lawyer novels)

Nothing like a good road trip & great music!

One drawback to being a classical music lover is you cn't really listen on the road. If you set the volume high enough to hear the quiet parts the loud parts break your eardrums. Luckily I like show music and a few old singers like Johnny Mathis and the Carpenters to name just 2.

My '21 Subaru Outback Ltd is the first car I've had that I can actully listen to classical music at a normal volume. Hurray!

You must have soundproofing! We tried to listen to classical in every one of our cars over the years and had to give up.

The problem I have is there is no CD player in the newer cars - and I have a collection of around 250 of them! Seems like the Ipod generation is taking over. Hard to keep a radio station when driving in AK - mountains block the transmission.

Yes. When my husband bought the Accoprd that was our biggest disappointment. I had to take the CD's we liked, download them to my computer then drop them onto a thumb drive. What a nuisance! I sold that car. My little old FIT has a CD player. :-)
Mamag15 Just wondering what you graduated from doing. Trip sure looked like fun. Going to write down the places you went to. We are in NC so wouldn't be such a long trip. Have a cousin in Tennessee been wanting to visit. Loved this puzzle.
Just got back from Tennessee where my sisters helped me celebrate my graduation. I went to Pidgeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Anakeesta. We went through the Titanic, Alcatraz East, and the Comedy Barn. I also went on a chondola, and then went to Blowing Rock, NC. It was the best 4 days I have had in a very long time. I hope ya'll are doing well. Missed my puzzling family. Still trying to get caught up. My next adventure will be to visit my son and his family in PA. Hopefully within the next 2 weeks. I am having a ball finally living the best life God has given me.
Sorry so late, little puppy keeps me on the go!
Love, love this colorful photo of the bicycle & fence.
Can't write much for I'm off to decorate my bicycle and fence
same way!!!! Enjoy the 4th of July week end and be safe!
