It was short night. We were up until 1:30 am, we had lots of lighting. Some hail that up to baseball.
Today is anniversary 48 years that I married him, but we are nothing for it.

Aussie --- Some thoughts for comfort, strength and hope.
Many years ago I visited Scandinavia. The experience which stands out the most and which has helped innumerable times is this:
Near Stockholm, we visited Millesgarden, an outdoor museum of the sculpture of Carl Milles. My most vivid memory --- a huge sculpture of a hand (about the size of a good size carpet) --- palm up --- and a life size figure of a man standing in it. "MAN IN THE HAND OF GOD"
When I need comfort, strength, hope --- I place myself in the hand of God. It helps to say "Palms up! "
When I was being wheeled to the operating room for brain surgery, I had my hand open --- "palm up" --- so that God could come to me ---- it works both ways! God bless you, Aussie, and give you comfort, strength and hope.
