That it is, not my type of painting, like to do landscapes or flowers...have done both in watercolors & oils, but nothing like this!!! Looks like a palette not a painting!

Can't draw a straight line! Not artistic at all. Used to do lots of knitting and latch hooked a few rugs.

I have been told that a straight line is the hardest thing to draw.

Agree CatLady. I do acrylic and pastel. I have gone to art school and studied all the art periods and "master" painters of each but although I know what their bases are I have never been able to convince myself abstract art comes up to impressionisnm and realism. To me most of the stuff belongs in experiment and color study if even that. Some belongs in the landfill which, if it were put there, would blend in perfectly.

Still can't draw even tho our mother sent my sister and I to the Art Institute of Chicago for a few lessons. We lived in Chicago then and took the "el" down there on Saturdays.
I kid you not...this looks like my floor, shoes, clothes and hair when I'm let loose with a paint brush. Everywhere but on the walls. Not sure I've used that many colors at one time though. Fun and easy puzzle!
Micki that was so very funny, we must have learned to paint from the same person. My husband always asks me last to do any painting, he says I get more on me than what ever I'm painting lol!!!
