I guess the big circle opening is for you. Do you think you'll fit? If it's a bed and breakfast you want, don't ask if they serve eggs.
Did you book ahead or are you doing it on the fly?

I just took it because it looked like a cheep place to stay.

If it isn't too great don't squawk. You have to expect such things when you wing it. From the outside at least it doesn't look too seedy.

Actually, I don't care for a high-rise apartment. The doghouse is more or less my dwelling. I will leave this place for Admiral Bird who explored the North and South Poles.

Ah. So the Admiral liked hi-rise and basement flats, but you prefer ground level.

Yes. I am more down-to-earth, pixipixil. You probably think that it is a dirty shame.

Only if you don't take care of things. It should be easy enough to keep on top of it since it is on the ground.
By the way, what kind of dog is your flatmate? Or did he sublet to you?
We have a two level house--ground and below. I miss a second story. Our other two houses were old farmhouses and I loved them both. Our next move will bring us away from ground level but only God can tell if it will be high rise or basement flat.

I was dog-sitting an English Bulldog. It's a good thing it wasn't a French Poodle. My French is a bit rusty, even though I studied it a mere 61 years ago.

Must be hard to get a straight answer from that dog. Wonder if he's related to the liar(lyre)bird.
Thanks Aussie - Today was a sad day 21 years ago. Today is the anniversary of the accident with Princess Diana and Dodi and the bodyguard. August 31, 1997 - Paris.
Reflections of love,
Reflections of life,
Touching fleetingly,
Mirrored in eyes
Openly longing for some response
To a heartfelt cry.
Patiently waiting
For a special moment of sharing, caring
and baring one's soul.
Expectant heart
Beating to a lover's symphony,
Hearing the echo of love
As sweet murmurings flow,
Softly, gently, stirring a response.
And as the passions mount,
An arousal of sensual feelings,
A longing, yearning
To be held, to be caressed,
To be touched intimately.
Then reaching the apex
of human needs, desires and wants,
A true conclusion
Of tender passionate moments,
Engendering ecstatic memories
And reflections of love.
Did you book ahead or are you doing it on the fly?
By the way, what kind of dog is your flatmate? Or did he sublet to you?

Not sure why I am posting this - perhaps someone needed to hear/see it
