I've recently started drinking tea again, decaf so I can have it whenever I want. It is very soothing. I love coffee, too, but tea is a nice change for the afternoon.
There is something very soothing about a well-made cup of tea. I do mine the English way if I have time; even the ritual brings a sense of calm.

I agree aknan, the ritual of making the tea is soothing all by itself.

My ancestor on both sides have been in the US for over 200 years. but never gave up the tea ritual! I learned as a toddler (1942) how to rinse the teapot, measure the leaves, steep for proper time. Not that it made sense to a toddler, but I did learn there was only one way to do it right, according to my grandfather and aunts.

Aknan --- Even you commit ---"even the ritual brings a sense of calm" --- brought a sense of calm to me!
Thank you!
What's in the little dish with the spoon? That doesn't go in the tea, does it? Looks too chunky. I thought maybe it's to spread on toast, but then I'd rather use a knife.
I like tea, but in the afternoon or evening, I need coffee in the morning to wake up!!!

Thank you!
Anyway, nice puzzle and happy solving everyone.
Always practice love and gratitude towards everyone, even yourself. Sometimes we forget that last part.
Have a great day!
