I see cows every day here in the countryside i..was nice to see the blurb said 'field' - being English of course they are fields - but here in New Zealand - they are paddocks!!
Nice to see so many cows in one field, as we do not see a lot of cows in fields nowadays although the supermarkets all ways have plenty of milk on there shelves.Enjoyed this jigsaw thank team for yet another good puzzle.
Sometimes they do too. When a milking cow is ready to go down the cow is then put down and butchered rather then the loss of the meat too. My Uncle would call us all and within the day we would all get it ready to be put in several freezers. On a farm nothing is wasted :)

I've never had a cow but we had two goats. One wouldn't breed as it was a mined gender so the s/he goat ended up stew meat. The other goat--(one was Stardust and the other Skylark) gave us so much milk we couldn't use it all and turned it into cottage cheese and yoghurt.

I used to have a beautiful big Holstein cow called Daisy Mae. She loved being groomed and was so quiet and affectionate, I could sit right underneath her & brush her tummy!

I remember one time when I was on my sister's horse and said she was nothing but a stupid horse. Well I learned really fast she was not stupid cause she promptly picked up her leg and kicked mine that was in the stirrup. Never called Maggie stupid again :)
I've never seen a purple cow
and hope I never see one
but I tell you I'd rather see than be one
