I f ever you are in Yorkshire, England, there is a place in the start of the dales called Skipton, where there is now a small shop where a austrian gentleman has opened a shop where he sells such goodies and the work he puts into making these items is fantastic, well worth a visit, and how nice it is to such good workman ship, also at the other end of the main street we have a Russian shop whom also sells there wares and you can sample there tasty food.

Thank you, Santaclaus. I have made note of the places in Skipton --- for when I get back in that area (I hope! ) Merry Christmas, Santaclaus!

We love Skipton; the Castle, Holy Trinity Church, and a bakery in the main street has the loveliest chocolate muffins!

You must try going left at the church and take your next left and cross the road and just past the pub there is the most fabulous bakery there with seating upstairs and they do the most fabulous sandwiches, we find these are to much for one person so we share and we also have spices wedges to go with them, and they are easy on the pocket and to die for.
Hope the next time you are over here you give them a try and let us know what you think.

Will do! We are hoping that our 'next time' will be in 2015. (It will be our fourth trip to England.)

You will have to wear a flower in your coat and tell us the day you are going and what date it would be. and maybe other puzzlers could join us.Obvious you would have to tell us the colour of the flower and which side of the coat or jacket you are wearing.

Santaclaus that sounds like a WONDERFUL idea! I've printed out this conversation and saved it in my England trip folder so that, when we plan our next trip, I can remember to do just that! How lovely of you to suggest it.

I have got the name of the bakery shop, it is called Whittakers, they also make chocolates so I presume it belongs to the high street one.

Are you all still making plans to visit Whittakers? I could be there in the summer of 22.

Nana24, Sadly, after talking with Santaclaus about meeting she drifted away from the C4J site and I've not been able to contact her since. (I don't know if she's still on C4J maybe under a different name.)
Hope the next time you are over here you give them a try and let us know what you think.
