Good for you. I'm so glad you are feeling better. There has been so much of that this year. Now they are saying that bad flu is going around again. Prayers for you. Happy Easter, too.

My pastor's little girl is sick with the flu.She is only 6 and had a fever of 104 last night. She started with a sinus infection and now she is really ill. When the pastor wrote he said she is in a lot of pain and not feeling good. I worry about this strain as so many kids have already died from it. The family in need of prayers in that the other kids don't get it or the parents.

Aww - Hope you feel better - I have allergeries as well. My sinuses have been bothering me as well. I was sick on xmas one year - we were visiting my grandparents when I was a kid. I'll never forget one trip I was sick all night and the next am - I was really slow at moving around still sick. We had to travel in a car for 5 hrs. My parents asked the hired driver to stop and get me some meds.

Just made a Lemon Cream Pie for tomorrow.

I've had sinus infections - the pain comes from the pressure in the nose. Growing up my brother had this infection and my mom went to get him meds. He couldn't take pills so she got then antiboitic liquid - it was 4 times as much as the pills. Had to be in the fridge too.

Update on my pastor's daughter: she is doing better as her fever broke and her body is starting to get strength back in it. Thank you for all the prayers.
Hopefully all those who are suffering from illnesses will start to feel better as well.

Thanks for letting us know she's getting better. It's always a faith builder to hear that our prayers are answered. Doesn't have to be yes, no, or wait a while, just the fact that there is a God who listens and answers in His timing and will.

I'm not getting better still deal with daily pain in 3 areas. Take pain meds now.

Thanks - I may end up having surgery. Took the dog into the vet today. She's been scratching her ears - their red. Hubby touched one ear and she jerked away. Then last week he told me to bath her and then said make sure you get the soap in her ears. I stayed away from the ears. She has really bad infections in both ears. I had a hunch that the soap down the ear was a bad idea.

I've been busy a lot with work and having gotten my strength back from my cold or whatever I had. Carolsapple, I'm praying for you. Mamag, glad to hear your pastor's daughter is better.

Thanks mam and rahrah - I'm afraid the doctor will order major surgery. I wonder if I have the surgery that I'd be sent to xray afterwards. I had one surgery 30 years ago and I don't know why my mom wanted that long to inform me that after the op I was sent to x-ray to make sure that there wasn't any metal in me.

They may not even send you to xray afterwards anymore. Your surgeon will let you know. Be sure to ask any and all questions that pop up, that will get rid of some of the anxiety. It's when we don't know the answers that our mind can play the game of "what ifs? "

I know what it is because I was in the hospital last yr. Then had a follow up with two doctors. One doctor performed tests. I've had surgery but not major surgery.

I'm praying for you and your medical team, so you can know all you need to, and get the problem taken care of.

I'm so sorry but glad you are feeling much better now. I know all about that awful sinus and allergy suffering. I bought a nettie pot and it has worked wonders for me. just an idea! I rarely have to go to a doctor now.

Shadtrapper, I'll try that because every now and again, I still have some of the symptoms but nothing like what I had a month ago. We keep having rollercoaster weather which of course is common in the Spring and Fall, especially now in the Spring since everything is blooming.

He is risen and we are forgiven, what a joy that is.
