I don't know how they got such even colors on those eggs. It's kind of tricky to get just the right amount of color. It looks beautiful against the wild tablecloth.
Only 268 days till Christmas. Better get shopping!

LOL. Luvs, I like your reasoning for my name. The name actually comes from when we took my grandmother to the lake cabin my family bought- when turning off the main road we had to go down a winding dirt road to get to it. When dad said the "cabin" would make a great place to bring weekend guests my grandmother chuckled and said, "Yes, all they have to do is try and find it! "

Ah, well, it then is a memory that fits a current personality trait. Reminds me of the first day I entered my father's home after his passing. On the card table where he and his friends would play cards, I found a round piece of paper with the following words: "This is a round tuit. Now you can do all those things you said you would do when you got a round tuit. So, what's holding you up? " I have carried this in my wallet since that day and always have a fond memory of my dad when I inevitably say when asked about a task or project I have mentioned that has fallen behind, "Yes, I'm sure I'll get around to it sometime."
This was pretty hard to do when the eggs looked more like chalk. Plus, the basket parts were confusing with that strung-around bits of paper to go under the eggs.
What are those eggs made of? They look like blackboard chalk but egg shaped. My husband and I went to two Easter Masses--the Vigil last night and the regular early morning one. Nothing new for him but the Lord must have wanted me there today (I usually don't go twice) but I discovered I had lost an earring so it meant retracing my steps. Since I was back at church anyway I figured it was God's way of getting me there. I did find the earring and thankfully it was undamaged. Praise God. He usually helps me find what I lost and this was no exception. Now I can enjoy Easter. It shows how invested I still am in things.
