We had a beautiful day today. We were supposed to have rain today, but nothing happened. Had a lot going on the last couple of days, got it all done. Now it is time to relax and do puzzles and watch some TV. I like the looks of this puzzle, very relaxing; did you see the lighthouse in the background? I could sit there relaxing with a nice book and enjoy the sunshine.
I noticed you have been having a lot of storms in your area. Hope all of you are safe. Did you see Japan had an earthquake? Tough going through that. Keep well and hugs all around. Caress to the Crickett...hope he is doing well through all the storms. :) >^-^<

Yes, saw the lighthouse...(left a note on the other one) as you will see my mind and my typing do not go at the same rate)...it's WHOLE not hole.
I enjoyed doing these boats, did them in the 300 classic size think I had a fairly good time.

We had a wild storm early this morning, woke up with a bang. :( What a way to wake first thing in the morning. Made some coffee and got out the raisin bran and milk. Got an early start on the day.
Yesterday was a wash. We went out for dinner and we were supposed to go to two stores. Never made it to the stores, I got sick at the restaurant. It must have been the New England Clam Chowder. I started to choke on it...it rose to the top and I just about made it to the ladies room. Waitress got me a glass of ginger ale, started to feel better after that. We just paid our bill and left. We've eaten there many times, never had a problem. Today I feel like I had a reaction to the soup, feel bloated and puffy. Having problems with my tongue, swollen and also my hands, joints are stiff. This will pass. Will make some of my pau d'arco tea later today. That will clear things up.
Oh my, I wrote this up early this morning and forgot to hit "Post Reply". Must have been way too early for me. Have a great day. :)

Hi CatLadyOKC, Happy Mother's Day! Is your son around? Do you have plans for today? I have not been on in quite some time. Just did not feel like doing puzzles. Both hubby and I have been very sick caused by some bad Chinese food we had. My friend had it too, but from another Chinese restaurant in her area. She has sworn off of Chinese food, will not touch it....no more Chinese food for us. Not worth the troubles.
We have not been doing much, just work around here when we have the energy. Hubby actually got around to doing the lawn two days ago, it was looking very shabby. I did some weeding and watering. Finally the outside looks good. We had a terrible rain/thunder storm a couple of days ago, after two weeks of no rain at all. It was very dry out there. It's very nice here for the weekend; a very nice Mother's Day weekend.
We hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day, enjoy your day. Hugs all around and a special caress to the Crickett. >^-^< Hope he is doing fine.

Doing fine, heard from 2 granddaughters but not their mother or my son. Doug is Atlanta on a project finally. The oldest granddaughter & her friend were going to bring the food & use our grill to fix supper, but we could be ducking storms again late afternoon & on so we decided to do it another day. They have an apartment & can not have a grill, also live on the 3rd floor...they are in Norman, but not but a short drive up here.
The other youngest granddaughter (14) was here yesterday & she cut the grass, going to do it for the summer for some extra money. She says she likes my mower much better than her mothers. Hubby supervises. Crickett is doing great!!! He likes to get out early morning and the as it warms up he is ready for another snack & a nap.

Hi CatLadyOKC, So glad to hear from you. Didn't do much for Mother's Day, we ate in. Cooked on Sat. so I could relax Sunday. Had plenty of extras. I did hear from a lot of my friends, e-mails and e-greetings. So nice to hear from them. Did hear from my cousins. So missed my KitKat and my other furgirls. One of my girlfriends and my cousin are in the same boat, miss their fur-kids, but they still have some at home. A house is not a home without my furgirls. Regarding my mother, don't have much to do with her, she likes it that way. She's just a mean person, full of spit and vinegar. She's lost her friend up the road because of her meanness and bossiness. It's too bad. She blames everyone except herself. I like being far away from her. She brings only heartache to a relationship. I've forgiven her so many times, but it's only a "green light" for her to do wrong again. I pray for her, hope she's well and that is it with her. I stay away.
It is so nice of your granddaughter to mow for you, and you get her visit too. It's good your son is working, but I guess you miss him. Very glad Crickett is doing great. A special caress for the Crickett. >^-^< Signing off for this morning, was up most of the night with a headache and sneezing fits, then running hot and cold. Hugs to you and family. Take good care of yourself. :)

Good to hear you had a good day! My daughter did send me a text. Both of her daughters stay in touch w/us. Usually see them once a week or so. Son calls at least once everyday, it is nice when he is home but it also is nice to have the house to ourselves...we also talked to hubbys mom, my mom past away more than 10 years ago. Crickett has been doing good lately likes it out in the cool mornings & naps in the afternoon when it get hot. Got thru yesterday's storms, but could have some more this afternoon. I just don't do them well, just tense up. Hope get get to feeling better, I don't have the headaches but do have the sneezing & coughing with my allergies this time of year, but I take med. for them all year long, just sometimes of the year it doesn't seem to keep up with them. We did talk w/my brother & his wife for a long chat, will see them when they go thru here in Jun. (we see them at least once a year). They had be up to the cabins near Taos, NM. & found some wild turkey tracks, followed them until they found them in the trees, then they saw the coyote tracks too, so they headed back to the cabins, they live in Albuquerque but they try to get to the cabins at least once a month. She has retired (was counselor for high school), and he is w/Sandia thinks he may retire before too long. Their children live in Dallas, Tx. & her mom lives in Wichita, Ks. so we see them when they come thru here & have a visit with them. Hugs to you both...from all of us and Crickett sends a special hug to you...!

Hi CatLadyOKC, Well, since the afternoon of the 9th, my hubby and I have been doing a liver detox cleanse. I have to say, it's not for the weak of heart. First three days are a bit rough, but finally today, doing much better at taking the Liver Cleanse Tincture, 4 times a day. I had made this tincture months ago, but never took the first step, and made a full out commitment. We knew we needed to go for it, we felt so terrible. So in a few weeks......we shall see. :) Ever so hopeful. :))
Talked to my Aunt Nina today. She is 88 years young, loves to go to the casinos; she went to Biloxi lately and had some fun. :)) I certainly hope to have as much energy as she has when I reach her age. She's a hoot. We invited her to come to our house for a visit, when she feels up to it. :) She's always lots of fun.
Speaking of "wild turkeys", we had flocks upon flocks of wild turkeys land in our old....old neighborhood back in Orlando. We would hear loud thumps on our roof, we'd run outside to see what was the matter, it wasn't Santa Clause....wrong season. :) And low and behold, a flock of turkeys on the roof....they were glaring at us....we ran back into the house...we were chicken to stick around, just in case they mistake us for something tasty. :)))) We kept the cats in the house too....just in case. :)) >*-*< Didn't want the wild turkeys to fly off with my furgirls. And that is my "Wild Turkey" story. :)) Well, nothing else new here. Stayed put since Mother's Day....just taking care of business. Hope all is well on your end...saw you had some terrible storms earlier in the week and a tornado. Is that anywhere near you? Hope there wasn't too much damage from all the storms. Crickett must have been hiding in his closet. Smart kitty. Thanks go out to Crickett for the special hug. Just love kitty hugs. :)) >^-^< That is all for now, hugs to you and hubby and a double caress to Crickett under his cute fuzzy chin. :))

We did get some rain, the grass needed cutting this week, got that done yesterday afternoon (granddaughter did it after school) so we are good for another week. It has been up and down w/the computer. We should get anything here until later today.
We are fine, hubby tries to get errands be for the storms show up, other than that just reading when computer is shut down. Sure hope you both get to feeling better. I'm running late this morning so guess I need to get started.
Was really glad to hear from you, we were beginning something had happen you. Take Care!!! Crickett is doing really good, has been eating more lately. Hugs from all of us, and extras purrs from Crickett!!!

Hi CatLadyOKC, We're doing better, a ways to go. I'm still on my liver cleanse program. We've been getting lots of storms sweeping through here. Yesterday, storms most of the day. Was not on the computer most of the time. Doing chores around the house and lots of reading. Have not been out for the last 3 days, it's like a soup bowl out there. The grass is finally nice and green and growing. Which means more mowing. :( That is all for now. Keep healthy and busy. Hugs all around to you and family, and an extra caress for the Crickett....love the Crickett's purrs. :) >^-^<

Good to hear you are getting better....We have been ducking storms too...but ours have been at night (don't like it at all), but our temps have been down so they have had lots of wind & large hail (very large). Next week temps will go up & they are saying more storms...May is usually our worst for tornados, but we have had then in every month. Lightening has been really bad lately! Our grass is also very green & the weeds are too. Allergies are out of site, meds are helping but not much, but that's not unusual for me this time of year, I do take med year around. Hubby says Crickett has a drinking problem he had 3 bowls of milk yesterday as well as his food, he seems to be eating better than he was but he is still as picky as always, one kind is great once but terrible the next time you give it him. His cat attitude is showing up. Good to hear from you...
Hugs from all & extra purrs & a few howls (the ones you can hear all over the house when he thinks he needs something) from Crickett. :)!

Hi CatLadyOKC, It was beautiful today, but very hot. I laughed when I read "Crickett has a drinking problem, he had 3 bowls of milk". :)) Thirsty and hungry at the same time. He loves his milk. >^-^< He's got Cattitude! My Mimi was like that, my first Maine Coon.
Nothing new here, today was a quiet day. Did some reading outside on my bench, till it got too hot. Then indoors to clean out the desk and do some writing. Finally late night puzzles.
When I came in from outdoor, wow what a odor hit me. Hubby was making a "dish of something" with lots of garlic. The entire house smelled of garlic. That dish was all his! :( Too much garlic for my taste. I get nervous when he cooks. :( I had to light a lilac candle to get rid of the odor. Hugs all around and thank Crickett for the purrs and howls. Kitty caresses for the Crickett. >^-^<

I need to get something else on my mind, the weather channel & our local station are both bringing up the two F5's that went thru on just north & the other just south, (granddaughter was at the Plaza Tower school), can't watch these and they are also expecting more sever storms for Sun. eve., Mon, & Tue....looking for a place to hide. Try to distracted doing puzzles & reading, doesn't always work. Hubby hasn't done that yet, but he can leave a mess w/cat food cans & his cooking messes for me to clean up, I'm more into the Lysol fresh linen set doesn't bother my allergies as bad as floral scents & they are really ramped up with all the rain we have had, try to stay inside as much as I can, have 3 air cleaners it helps but not much, just carry Kleenex with me all the time. Hugs from all & howls & purrs from Crickett. He says thanks for the caresses! (he is NOT spoiled.)

Hi CatLadyOKC, Oh MY! I saw footage of two tornadoes, one huge cell, one huge "cloud". They called it an F5, now I know what it looks like from the safety of the TV, at home. I've seen tornadoes before when I was a kid. Would never want to see one again. They are frightening. How are you doing with all your weather problems? Crickett has his good hiding place in the closet? Hope all is well with all of you. Is you son still on the road working?
How are your allergies doing? They are clearing up here. Mine are doing better. Eyes are starting to clear-up, still puffed out a bit, but not leaking.
I found some info on clearing my eye/nose problem. It is orange peels from 1/2 an orange, 3-4 pieces of cloves and some lemon in a small pot of water, boil....pour into large cup; set aside to cool down just a bit. Sip orange tea, and breath in the vapors. Good for the sinus. Hope this helps you. :)
Not much planned for today, except shopping. Well, I better get going and get that done. Tomorrow is laundry day. We both cleaned Mon. & Tues. Our week is almost done. Will be doing some reading over the weekend. :))
Big Hugs to you and your family and a special caress for the Crickett. >^-^< Meow.

Good to hear you are doing better, will have to try your recipe sounds good my allergies are the worst with weather like this. We are still ducking storms the nine day forecast is still showing storms every day. We just try to keep up the last forecast and the weather radios on!! Crickett is sleeping in the front wild flower bed, he thinks he is hidden in there...don't know how he stands it, really muggy here today. Son is in Alabama now, not sure where he is going next, he is not sure either. Hubby cleaned all the cottonwoods stuff off the front porch this morning it really gets tracked in with all the humidity we have had lately. I'm just trying to stay in side as much as I can with the air conditioning and air cleaners. We have been watching the basketball on TV (mostly hubby) but I've watch part of some games. Always good to hear from you...Hugs to all, & purrs & howls from Crickett!!

Sure hope you are feeling better...
Talked to son last evening he is moving next week to Pensacola for a week or so has some
testing they want him to do. We manage to duck most of the storms yesterday, oldest Granddaughter & friend came by to use grill late afternoon and feed up too, can't beat that!!! We have lots of thunder & lightening late last night also some wind so we were up late. Suppose to have more storms later today, but I think we get a break tomorrow, then we get more for the rest of the week. Had to change battery in the upstairs weather radio, it has a back up if elec. is off for the battery to keep it running for at least 6 hrs. Haven't done much else but puzzle when I can. Crickett sends purrs & howls to all, hugs from all!
He helped with the grilling last evening. He is back out sleeping in the wildflower bed again. He thinks we cant see him there, but the black nose & white around it shows up, also can see the white on his paws....also it shows up were he has flatten the plants. He will move to the back patio today when he hears the trash truck coming down the street, he says they eat cats if you aren't careful. Here is to a good day for you!

Hi CatLadyOKC, Happy Memorial Day! Doing anything special today? We're just watching movies. Taking a break and doing e-mail and maybe a couple of puzzles. Hubby is making pizza. Having wine and cheese! :)) Then going back to movies. Sounds like your granddaughter gave you an early Memorial Day picnic with all the grilling. Crickett must have been licking his chops waiting for some favorite grilled meat. My Mimi loved chicken and steak on the grill. KitKat loved chicken on the grill.
Trash trucks do eat cats! Smart Crickett for hiding out from the big, stinky trucks. :)) >^-^< I did get a good laugh regarding the flattened wildflower bed; nice hiding place. Well, that is all from this end. Hope you have a good remainder of your Memorial Day. Hugs all around and a special caress for the Crickett. :) >^-^<

Sounds like you've had a great Memorial Day!
We have just taken it easy today, I've mostly try to get caught up with puzzles, just wish it would quit storming, the lighten & thunder keep me up last nite for a while. Tomorrow is another day of dogging early storms then late afternoon ones again. Son is still in Saraland, Al. will then move to Crestview, Fl. later in the week. He is not happy the test equipment then sent was faulty so they are shipping more overnight to him. Need to get back on puzzles...or I'll be up late for me...
Hugs from all, & purrs plus howls, he is hiding in the flower bed when I was downstairs earlier.

Hi CatLadyOKC, Sounds like your son has his hands full. But he will then move on to FL, it has been nice here for a few days. Some have had rain/storms on the east side, but not here. Closest to us was Hillsborough county, heavy rains, storms and wind flipped a car and ripped out trees. Busy evening. A hammer head shark beached itself at Siesta Key beach, we used to go there quite often, nice beach. A woman was bit by a small shark. Authorities are actually looking for that shark, like the shark is wearing a tee shirt saying "I'm out to get you". :)))
Our lawn is dry, no rain in sight, but at least we don't have to cut the lawn. Our air conditioner went out late this afternoon; fan is not working. Will deal with it tomorrow. Made the call to the air guy, but has not called back yet. Well, it's a holiday; there is always tomorrow. We were saying earlier, "It's always something". Well, got to get going and get ready for bed. Take care of yourself...hugs all around...purrs & caresses for the Crickett. >^-^<

Hi CatLadyOKC, The air conditioner is fixed. We had a rough night, only had three hrs. of sleep. Way too hot to sleep. But the a/c guy did a wonderful job. Not only fixed the broken part, but did a full maintenance on the unit and the air handler. The house is so nice and cool now. Had to take a nap after he left, slept 4 hours. :) Tomorrow is laundry day, just pushed everything of my "to do list" over one day. Would like to get over to the beach tomorrow too, it's been a while since we've been there.
It has gotten muggy here too, looks like we will be getting some rain in the next few days. Lawn could use it. We had 89 for a high, but felt like it was in the 90's.
The a/c guy noticed we had two rather large holes dug in our "rock garden" along the privacy wall. He said we have turtles living there. I have never seen them. That area is in the front of the house, I have my park bench across from that area. Do some reading there. I wondered what could have dug up that area, I thought it was a ground hog or wood chuck looking for bugs. We have some large bugs around here, especially Palmetto bugs, grasshoppers and crickets.
Enjoying the updates on the Crickett, his roaming, purrs and flower flattening. :))) >^-^< He's a character. Purrs & howls back to the Crickett and a special caress under the chin. Hugs all around and take good care of yourself. :)

Sounds like you have been busy, glad to hear a/c is back up and running. Our a/c & heat is a friend of our son (they went to school together) he comes out twice a year & check out everything to make sure it is running okay. Still muggy here, yesterday had to shut down early...lots of wind, rain, lightening, thunder & hail...also 3 or 4 small tornadoes to the s/w of us - long late afternoon & most of evening, finally slowed down after the 10 o'clock new & I read some then went to sleep. I have one eye on the radar today, will be getting showers most of the day (off/on) so far no lightening. I do the pushing of the "to do list" sometimes I just forget to do it that week & catch it up the next week. Crickett sat in his chair on the porch (next to the door) yesterday guess he was enjoying the rain, thunder didn't seem to bother him...he finally came in & had his supper & went to bed....Hugs for all...Purrs & howls from him.

Hi CatLadyOKC! Today was a good day! We didn't get to the beach, weather looked ominous, not a good idea. We did get to the grocery store, made it home in time before the storm. It hit just north of us, which is where we were. It hit just south of us, but we did not get a drop. The thunder/lightning circled us. That was most of the afternoon. So I did a load of towels and made a Shells/tomato sauce and cheese casserole for supper. Very good with lots of cheese. :)) Then folded all the towels, then on the computer and also did some reading...that was my evening. Tomorrow, will finish up the shopping, take care of bills/accounts.
Will have to tell you about my Spots tomorrow, she had habits like your Crickett. So enjoy his exploits. Take care, hugs all round and a special caress for the Crickett. :) >^-^<

Hi CatLadyOKC, Got an idea of melting down an antibiotic pill in some warm water and soaking my fingers in the water. It does seem to help, but the water has to be warm to absorb. The finger that are not so bad have responded, but my index finger on the right hand, it's a bit slower in reacting. I'll just have to keep it up. I am able to type a bit better. Good to hear that you have found something that is helping. Don't think anything would help my typing almost flunked it in HS. I think my problem is that my mind moves faster than my fingers.
It is so nice to see the sun here, but yesterday was really hot think it was in the 90s. My brother & sister-in-law were thru yesterday. We went out to eat and then back to the house for a good visit.
Crickett & their dog really don't care for each other think they both may be spoiled. No major problems, but don't think they will best friends.
Noticed that the weather is not going to last, we have storms coming in again over the weekend.
Need to get caught up on puzzles;didn't get all I wanted to get done yesterday, but should get caught up today. Keep getting better....hugs from all of us & purrs/howls from Crickett. He did use a few more howls yesterday!

Very hot around here and lots of rain. Nothing will change until October. So very nice you had company, breaks up the week. We won't have anyone come until fall. It's just so rainy here, we don't even go to the beach.

Just keep taking it easy until you are back to normal. Son called this am, he left Crestview, Fl. yesterday & he is now on his way to Tupelo, Al. He stopped somewhere in Al. last night; says this has been a long test drive. Hubby has been out of sorts this last week, but I think he is starting to feel better. I've been busy this week going over his DHS files, since his oldest has reach 18 and the support thru them stops. Have been up later than usual for me. Crickett can't make up his mind as to whether he wants outside on the porch or patio or inside w/the a/c. He also likes the front wild flower garden, thinks we can't see him in it. Noticed that we have rain forecast until next Friday. Just hope we don't get any 113 degree days this year. So far this year our electric bill has been lower than usual, but it will go up real quick. TAKE OF YOURSELF!!! Hugs for all, and purrs & howls from Crickett. :)!

Hi CatLadyOKC, Been taking it easy. Eyes have cleared up. Fingers, still working on them; index finger is still swollen. Have it protected with cotton and band aid. Nothing new here. Very hot temps, heat index 101 deg. Can't stay out very long. Today we will have rain/storms. Need to get out and do some shopping. :( Not looking forward to that.
Sounds like your son is hopping around quite a bit. At least he sees the country, but in this heat, can't be fun for him.
We have a turtle nesting in our front rock garden. Dug a hole under the house, probably laid eggs there. We will have to wait it out for the hatching, then fill the hole. :)) It is interesting here with all the wild life around us.
Well, that is all from here. Take good care of yourself, keep cool if you can. Hugs all around and a special caress & purrs for the Crickett. >^-^<

We are under heat alerts here, lots more humidity than we usually have actual temps have been in the upper 90's so Crickett is in the house most of the day, he gets to go our for awhile early morning...he is not happy with being in the house.
He likes to be out evenings, but it has still been to hot for him to be out. We are trying to stay in as much as possible and our elec. bill was lower in May than usual but will expect the next one to be way over that...the a/c has really been running also have ceiling fans going. We didn't get rain yesterday, but that's the first day for awhile...hope we can get thru today with out storms, then we are to be just hot for awhile...Most of sons testing is done from a rental SUV/with A/C. Not sure which state he is in today, but says he can work out of that area for a few days, found a motel that is really nice and reasonable rate. He talks w/us at least once per day if not more....
Your turtle sounds interesting...we have a could of squirrels that are fun to watch, the love to chase each other up and down the trees and along the tops of the fence. Take care of yourself and stay cool....
Hugs from all, Crickett sends Purrs & Howls to all!
He spent most of yesterday & last night upstairs w/me.

Hi CatLadyOKC, Finger has improved today, even after I banged it on the box of soap. I did laundry today. We did not go out. Hubby not feeling well. At least I got something done. Then I decided to do puzzles, it's been awhile. Not bad at all, regarding timing. When the index finger started to hurt, I would just soak it for a few minutes. It's still sore, but manageable.
There was plenty of rain today, but most of it went south of us. We are supposed to have isolated thunder storms from 6am on throughout the morning. Not good shopping weather, oh well. We shall see. Sometimes we don't even get a drop. Right now, just past 11:30pm it's still in the 80's. It's not going to cool much more for tonight. I'm with Crickett, it is tough not being able to go outside and enjoy some fresh air. It's too muggy in the evenings, the dew point shoots right up after sunset.
A/C has been running a lot, we are also expecting a very high elec. bill. That will continue until mid-October.
Well, that is all from me. Keep well, stay cool and keep reading...what else are you going to do? :)) Hugs all around and a special caress and purrs for Crickett. :)) >^-^<

Good to hear you are getting better....noticed you had done puzzles. Think we aren't getting any rain today, but temps still in the 90's & dew points are way up, but it is enough to put temps into the 100's so will stay in a much as we can. Going to puzzle most of the rest of today...paid some bills ours & sons...I keep track of sons finances for him. Today is my birthday, turned 73 today, spent last year thinking I was 73 so guess this was a good surprise. My family tries to age me every year and they got me last year. Crickett has moved upstairs with me for some reason, so I'm changing his puppy pads several times a day...he slept w/me last nite & poked me at least every 1/2 hour so not moving real fast today. Hugs to all! Purrs & HOWELS, & pokes too from Crickett!!
Will gladly share those w/anyone that would like them. Hope your hubby gets to feeling better, my hubby has been not feeling real good this week, but did fine out he had not been taking his meds, think that might be part of the problem.

Hi CatLadyOKC....Happy Belated Birthday to you! Hope it was a good day even if it was hot and you didn't go out. You had your Crickett by your side. :) It is wise to stay in if it's too hot. How the years fly by. Wishing you a healthy # 73.
It rained/stormed most of the morning on Friday, did not get out. Ended by 1p, but by then it was too hot, hubby didn't want to go out. He found a problem in our antenna, probably from the storm. He spent the rest of the afternoon fixing that problem. I read most of the afternoon and did my word search book. Nice and relaxing. :)
Well, that is all from here. Caresses, Pokes, Howels and Purrs for the Crickett. :) >^-^<...and Hugs all around to you and your family. Again, Happy Birthday! :))

Finally getting back to you, haven't been doing much of anything, but getting caught up w/son's bookkeeping & ours, also have been thru the flea & tick both on him & the yard, too hot and humid here to get out much. We have been under heat alerts most days so are trying to stay in as much as possible. Getting puzzles done...and have also getting caught up on my reading. Looking at more storms next week and heat for most of the week, but haven't had to water this yet this year and the grass is still green & growing. Granddaughter comes early morning to do the grass when we get a dry day, she is doing a really nice job of keeping up with it. I've been meaning to ask if you hear from HockeyFan, don't every see her on the puzzles anymore.
Keep cool & dry and hope your finger is getting better. Hugs to all! Purrs for all from Crickett he is spending more time in the house these days to hot out there for him.

Hi CatLady, Sorry for this late reply, I have been very sick and under Dr. care. Not been doing puzzles at all. Just not interested, being so sick.
I do still hear from hockyfan, she's on FB. No longer has a computer or e-mail. We converse on FB text messaging or phone. She is okay, working for a florist. I wish you were on FB, we could text, converse by phone or e-mail.
How have you and your family been doing all these months? How is the Crickett doing?
My hubby, Tom is doing much better. It took him a year to get over his illness. But he is back to his old "grumpy" self. :)) He was very sick too, digestion problems. :(
Me, I am still on the mends, the last 4 months have been awful. One thing after another. But I do have some great help from my Dr. Robinson and his dad, also a very old style Dr., love 'em both. They have been a great help.
Well, that is all for now.
May you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year 2017.
Love and hugs to you all....a special hug and caress to Crickett. >^-^<

So Glad to here from you...!!!
Keep on getting better both of you...sorry you have so many problems!
Just found out last nite that my computer resets
it's self a midnight our time & shuts me out and
signs me out of all...Will have to rember that so
I'm not in the middle of a puzzle and loose it.
We were at daught's house w/family & friends
last eveing for supper & presents...had great time.
She has two kittens now, several months between them but they are both part Maine Coon, so cute.
Son & his son are also here he drove in part way from Minn., & then picked his son on Fri. as he lives in N.OK. Was great to have all of us together. Son has been home more this year...he was also home at Thanksgiving.
We had most of us here on Sat. helping cleaning up the yard (had to take down a large mapple in frontyard. I fell and landed on my arm a broke it. Should get the cast off the first part of Jan; but also my blood pressure has been all over the place since then, family dr. wants me to take it every few days so he can tell what is causing
it, have been on that med. for over 10 yrs. Will see him about 3 wks after I get cast off.
Crickett has decieded that he is no longer using his litter box, only puppy pads now. Vet says he is doing okay & at his age let him do as he pleases, also let him eat anything he will...he has lost a lot of weight.
He sends you very Special Hugs & Cat kisses!
Hubby is grumpy too!!! but fine.
Looks like the storm has really come down maybe just some lite rain or mist. Lightning is all gone!!!
E-mail if my choice, I always get in trouble on f/b because I have a habit of saying what I think to my family & then they cut me off....
You note was my best Christmas Present, don't wait so long next time.
Love & hugs to you, hubby & h/f.

Dec 27, 2016
Hi CatLady, Had a bit better day today. :) Have been doing a lot of draining from my neck; got to keep it clean. It has improved.
Sounds like you had a nice Christmas with your family. We didn't do anything Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or Monday (boxing day). We were out over to Lakeland to visit my Dr. on Friday, and then went out to dinner at Friday's before going home. I spent most of Sunday watching old movies, Christmas films.
Regarding your broken arm, so sorry you are going through that. May it mend quickly. It must be difficult getting things done around the house, and typing with one hand too! You mentioned your blood pressure is high, is it caused by the stress of your accident, broken arm? Have you tried regulating you blood pressure with breathing exercises and thinking down your pressure. It takes some doing, but with practice, it does work. I've been doing it for years. You may want to give it a try.
Sorry to hear the Crickett is not in tip top form, he is getting old. Give him an extra kitty caress from me and a big hug too.
We have had some warm weather this past week and over the holiday. So unusual for this time of the year....85 degrees! So dry, no rain in sight.
I'll be writing to hockey Fan tomorrow, I'll give her your regards.
So glad you felt my letter was a gift. So missed not writing to you. Wondered how everyone was doing on your end. :) Regarding e-mail, you will have to send an e-mail to Kevin or Laura at C4J and request they send your e-mail to me. That is how HockeyFan and I got together outside of puzzling.
Well, that is all for tonight; it's getting late. Got to get some sleep.
Take care of yourself, mend quickly....Hugs all around to you and the family. Nose rubs for Crickett. :)) >^-^<

Dec 29, 2016
According to the e-mail from Kevin you should be getting it soon. Sounds like he has been really busy. Good to hear you are getting better. Crickett is out back having a sunny nap....sending nose rubs.
What a great shot this is I Love it takes me back yo when I lived on Australia Queensland we could always see boats coming and going it was good to see them bringing the fish in that thy had court over morning fishing. sometimes we could go and buy some fresh fish which was always nice to get.
I noticed you have been having a lot of storms in your area. Hope all of you are safe. Did you see Japan had an earthquake? Tough going through that. Keep well and hugs all around. Caress to the Crickett...hope he is doing well through all the storms. :) >^-^<
I enjoyed doing these boats, did them in the 300 classic size think I had a fairly good time.
Hugs from all & extra purrs & a few howls (the ones you can hear all over the house when he thinks he needs something) from Crickett. :)!
>^-^< Meow.
Hugs all around and a nice caress for Crickett. >^-^<
Will have to tell you about my Spots tomorrow, she had habits like your Crickett. So enjoy his exploits. Take care, hugs all round and a special caress for the Crickett. :) >^-^<
I have my fingers all band-aid up, did soak them all day and did a lot of sleeping trying to get rid of this infection....remaining hopeful this will go away quickly. Eyes are doing better. :)
Very hot around here and lots of rain. Nothing will change until October. So very nice you had company, breaks up the week. We won't have anyone come until fall. It's just so rainy here, we don't even go to the beach.
Take care, keep well, and hugs all round. Purrs and caresses for Crickett. >^-^<
