Hi everyone at last I have news about gong into Hospital for skin grafts. I have to go tomorrow for pre-assesment and then I should be admitted on Tuesday 4th Dec. for surgery, the only thing that will stop me is if I am a carrier of a D&V bug which is common at present. Please pray that this time nothing will go amiss to stop the surgery.
I pray that you will all have a peaceful Advent has you journey towards the Holy Child in Bethlehem.
The beautiful butterfly in the puzzle is a common visitor in our garden but not at this time of the year, it will wait until winter is over and spring is here.
I had a couple of these in my butterfly collection as a kid. Once I had two of each kind I didn't catch any more and started chasing dragonflies. A teacher in sixth grade took the whole collection and threw it in with a heap of junk for a jumble sale. It was ruined and I never went back to collecting them. That had taken years of collecting. He was still teaching when I graduated high school and apparently was popular. Not with me he wasn't!
Hope you keep all your treasures safe and don't present them to swine who will trample them.
Not good for a teacher to do that. So many words come to mind but I will be nice and not share them here. I always tried to be a fair and caring teacher. I am sure I didn't always succeed, but I can firmly say I NEVER did what your sixth grade teacher did, and no teacher should ever do, I might add.

Pixi, what an awful thing to do! That was a valuable collection, too. When I graduated high school, my college asked me to donate my insect collection to their museum. Very flattering!

Wow. Aknan do you ever go back to look at it? I wouldn't say mine was great like that but all the insects I had were in perfect condition although not professionally mounted.

Nborchardt--Thanks. Both my husband and I were teachers and we made sure to respect the work of our students.
My "extended" mom was a SOCIAL BUTTERFLY, as she classified herself. I LOVE doing these puzzles.
