Beautiful flowers and scene. I hope everyone is taking care of themselves and staying home and finding interesting things to do. Please, stay well and blessings to all of you.
Between chatting with our children and grands, cleaning house, my pottery, jigsaw puzzles all over our dining room table, my computer (and C4J jigsaws), gardening, yard work and tv I've loads to keep busy.
Hope all our puzzler friends are finding lots to do. God bless.

Sounds like you're doing what you like to do! That is awesome, trynfindit!! How is your husband doing?

Yes, they are mostly things I like to do and have time to do since I'm retired (best job I''ve ever had). I could do without the cleaning house but the elves & fairies seem to keep missing our house. I've also been working on my genealogy (since 1999). My hubs is getting through day to day. Some days are harder than others of course. Besides his MS he deals with an unbelievable amount of pain from other issues - he's had 13 surgeries so far including but not limited to rotator cuff, knee realignment and re-surfacing, a crushed left forearm [auto accident], 4 spinal fusions, neuro-stimulator implant & removal. The amount of scar tissue is huge. Plus he has MHE which is an overactive bone growth issue. Where things like the spinal fusions & the plate in his lower left arm usually have a small amount of bone grow over them his body covers the area with bone. He has no feeling in his left leg from the knee down and has to wear a 'drop-foot' brace to keep his foot from dragging (drop-foot is one of the myriad problems with MS). How he gets through each day amazes me. I know this is likely much more info than you were expecting, but many thanks for asking about him. Big hugs.

I could do the same with my husband. He has outlived his 9 lives, fortunately, but like your husband he has incredible pain everyday. We can only keep them in our prayers, love them, and be there when it hurts so much they have to fight the tears. Big hugs back to you, my friend and have a wonderful day with your husband.

H trynfindit. Somehow I never read your post about your husband. I bet God gave him an upbeat disposition. They seem to be the people he burdens most. Sending a prayer for the both of you right now.
I notice you do pottery. Do you do slab, coil, pinch or throw or all of the above? I took a course in it as a birthday gift and bought all the equipment but haven't been able to get back to it for several years.
I have not been able to master the wheel at all.

Hi pixipixil. Thanks so much for your kind words and prayers; we are grateful for them.
Yes, I do pottery. No wheel, that never interested me. I do mostly coil and slab but also some pinch. Learned about pottery in high school and fell in love with it. I'm toying with starting a Facebook page with my pottery but haven't gotten around to it. I do have an internet page with my photography from our trips though: www.pbase.com/trynfindit

Those are really interesting photos of the abbeys. I especially like the Fountain Abbeys group. I have always found doorways to be fascinating and mysterious. The shot through the doorway of all those arches with the shadows is especially nice. I don't have any of my photos or art posted anywhere. I have always worried they would be poached. How is Pbase as a photo site? I saw your notice that no one can use your work w/o permission. How has that worked for you? Does the site have any safeguards to prevent theft?

Thanks for visiting my PBase page. Glad you liked the photos. I, too, like 'doorway' shots. I need to load our more recent photos from the UK. I probably ought to post my pottery pictures there too. PBbase is a good page. As for the permission thing, I honestly doubt that the statement prevents anyone from using the photos but I put it on there anyway. I don't think PBase has any safeguards to prevent others using someone's material.
Possibly this cactus might be in Mexico, New Mexico, Arizona or even Southern California--the description doesn't say.
A cactus flower symbolizes safety because of its protective qualities. It also represents maternal love, warmth, and care because it endures and thrive in harsh conditions.
Very lovely but a bit tricky.
Our trip plans are getting dimmer. Utah is telling folks not to come visit. They're worried about campers during Spring break. When is that?
National Parks lodgings are closing but the parks have eliminated entry fees. It's total confusion.
Hoping God can help us all as we decide what to do next.
Looked it up. It's this weekend. Maybe by mid May things will change.

If you have a garden, put a couple of deck chairs out, get the BBQ out and stay home:-\

A number of my doctors are expecting the virus to burn itself out by mid May. I'll reassess in late April. We won't do anything dumb. Thanks for caring.
(We don't do BBQ's etc. but will do extra gardening if we are stuck home. One never runs out of work when one owns a house.)

One of my bookings canceled on me yesterday. I suspect everyone outside NY, WA, DC, &CA want to avoid anyone from those states.
