I lift up mine eyes to the hills, from which cometh my strength...I do this every day, as I live at the foot of the Chugach Range and I always find peace. Today, I looked out and found new snow - termination dust, we call the first snow of the season - and thanked God for beauty.

Thank you, elijah13 and aknan! How lucky you are, aknan, to be with the mountains!

More new snow today - now the mountain tops look like they were dipped in icing instead of powdered sugar!

Just saw the space shuttle go up from Cape Kennedy with the regular people (not astronauts) in it. I think they are to circle a few times before coming back to earth. Going up the part you could see was a "bright orange". I just have to go out on my driveway and look east!

How wonderful that you can witness this! I've always wanted to see this ( really thought I'd be a support person on the moon in '75 - so much for that! ) and I envy you. Keep enjoying for both of us!
This reminds me of a trip years ago from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania to visit our grandparents. My sister, who was about five at the time, was tired (as we all were! ) near the end of the trip and she asked, "How many more mountains? "
Where the wind blows free and sweet.
Let me go to the mountains
And there God will I meet.
Accept what is, let go of what was, and have faith in what will be.
A beautiful Place to visit
Wishing all of us a great day
Thank you for sharing puzzle today.
