Have been to Fort Myers Beach. The summer months the heat brings sharks and sting rays closer to shore. The both bury themselves into the sand and people step on them and are bitten.
Thank you team for this lovely sunset, it is very rare we get such sunset as this one, we once got one down south at a place called woolacombe we have it somewhere with the photographs, but with nearly everything packed in boxes it would be hard for which box they were in.
I can't believe there haven't been any comments yet of this beautiful scene in Clearwater, Florida. I think it is absolutely breathtaking. I have never been to Florida and I have never seen the ocean. Maybe someday. I hope everyone has a relaxing Labor Day and all of the kids who haven't started back to school yet are rested and ready for tomorrow.
Lovey area, but it was about 50 years ago when I was in that area, I expect it has changed alot!!! Even longer when I saw the Pacific Ocean, and more years Lake Michigan!

Hi Annie1749, It was a real good learning weekend. Didn't go anywhere, to many people out and about. I was "playing" with my new laptop. It has it's ups and downs. Had some difficulty finding some of my programs, but I will get the hang of things eventually. I have been to Clearwater a few years ago. There are some beautiful beaches along the west coast of FL. The sunsets are great. Have a wonderful day. :)

my husband's family had their own landing
you could see the beach from
i live about 7 or 8 miles from where you can take a ferryboat for a ride to the beach
what a pleasure it to take that ride
i have't been in a long time
just the ride over is a joy even if you don't walk over to the ocean
i hope you get to see the ocean
when I was a young'un our family would go to the beach in a row boat
did we young'un over have fun running in the sand and going in the water
i didn't intend to write a book

Dbnc2, Being in Michigan we do have a lot of water all around us. Just a week ago my husband & I took a ride to Stony Creek Metro Park, which is about 18 miles from here. We watched the sail and pontoon boats and the kids, old & young, at the beach. It was a beautiful, warm and sunny day. We are very close to Lake St. Clair which runs into Lake Huron. It sounds like you have a lot to see in North Carolina. My nephew lives in Raleigh. Is that anywhere near you? Have a good day?

I am about 4 hrs from there
my great granddaughter is in collage there
she has 4 more yrs. and she will be a Vet,
I am very proud of her
