Love the Phyllis Diller quote. She was so funny because she could make fun of herself and just BE herself.

Hi Mamag, she was going to hospital for three weeks, so have not spoken to her lately. Lyn has a friend who may be staying at her house, so will call sometime this week to see how she is. She does not have a computer, which makes it a bit harder to keep in touch. New Zealand is a long way from Australia, but I have Skype, so that helps. Thanks for caring. Hugs.

AS, how could New Zealand be far away from Australia. It is only an inch away on some of my maps. ;-)))
I haven't been on in awhile. A relative I live with, her computer is really outdated (Windows Vista) and can't afford a new one. It slowed down and started freezing up then it got an error message saying low memory and to close some programs and files to free up space. We aren't really sure what programs and files to close. I also was concerned that some of my newer devices like android tablet and phones and new laptop (it was cheap and I need an updated system for some things) on the wi-fi could be contributing to the deterioration of the desktop memory. I did some disk cleanup on the desktop and removed a few items completely and it's a little faster now but I'm still not sure if I fixed the memory. My laptop came with a touchpad but I couldn't click and drag with it so I just bought a new mouse for my laptop so in case I have trouble with this desktop again, I'll still be able to do puzzles. Hope everyone is doing well. Hugs and blessings.
I'm glad you are back knadine! I understand the computer problems you were having!

Hi KNadineM - it is surprising how quickly these modern means of communication get outdated. Hope you get it all worked out. Hugs.

I understand the computer problem as well. I took an old laptop in. Told my niece about how I grew up and she couldn't believe it. We didn't have answering machines or cordless phones. I recall when Microsoft was just starting out.

Thank you both! It seems to be doing okay now. How long that keeps, I have no idea.
Dbnc2 know how those sleepless nights are I usually only sleep from 11pm until about 2am every night. Hope and pray you get some sleep, hard to function without it and be safe.

Try a little lavender oil on your temple dbnc and Darambo. I woke up coughing in the middle of the night last night and couldn't get back to sleep so did the lavender thing and don't remember much else :) It always works for me. Hugs to you both.

Agree looks quite refreshing - sleepless nights? Oh I hate those - I take sleep meds now. Otherwise I can't sleep!
