OH! OH! YUM!!!!! There is nothing better tasting than a fresh ripened tomato picked fresh from the vine. Anyone ever have a tomato and mayo sandwich????
So sad mamag, I worked for the MS Society here in Queensland for a couple of years and the first time I saw all the patients, I just broke down. So many awful sicknesses which seem to have no cure. The emphasis should be on cures not on other things. Hugs.

Bless you Aussie for your work at the MS Society. I appreciate any help anyone can give to help find a cure for this disease. I knew nothing about MS until I was diagnosed. Knowledge gives us hope...

Thank you Aussie for your generous time working with MS patients. Diane (my sister) has a very strong will and will not let her MS get to her. She has a quote I love " I have MS it does not have me." Her fybrimyalogia ( I know spelled that wrong) goes along with MS. As of right now, there are no cures for either of these diseases. Stay strong minded, strong-willed, and do not give up Joyce. Keep going as long as you can.

Thank you Sharon., Diane had a wonderful birthday even though I could not be there. They were serving alcohol and my husband and I cannot be anywhere near the stuff. We are both struggling with the want of it and the temptation is too strong. She did completely understand. She had a super great time. One chapter of her life is over and she is starting another. I pray for her strength and overcoming many obstacles in her last 50 years. Now I am getting teased because I will be 60 n Jan.

I know how your sister feels. My cousin has MS & she has her bad days too, Sometimes it takes all her strength to get up some mornings. But she just gets on with it. Has your sister been keeping up with any news of trials for possible treatments. I believe the scientists are working on a possible cure. Let's hope it's soon. Best of luck to all MS sufferers.

I admire your cousin's strength. The best thing anyone can do who is struggling with any type of debilitating diseases or illness is to keep praying for strength, thank God for everyday they achieve a goal even if it is just getting out of bed, and never give up. I hope their will be a cure for MS and other diseases as well. My biggest ones are mental illnesses, MS, and cancer. I especially focus on mental illnesses as this is what took my son's life.

You and your husband are very strong and have the will power to be over comers mamag15. God will bless you through your prayers for your sweet sister!!! God bless you and your family!!!!!
Where I live, we have a wonderful farmers market every week. They have themes for every week and one of those themes is heirlooms. You can sample about a dozen types of heirloom tomatoes to see which ones you like best. The colors and flavors are amazing!

Heirloom tomatoes are like the ones of our youth - firm, not too many seeds and a real gel around them, not water. And flavor like no other! I gladly pay the higher price.
