I find that fasting helps clear the taste buds so they are more sensitive to flavor.
I think snails are always asleep. When they crawl along, they're just sleep walking!

Because of slugs and snails, I no longer plant marigolds or nasturtiums. Got tired of supplying the pests!

This is the first year anything ate my nasturtiums. Thought it was chipmunks which have overrun the yard--they are everywhere. Turned out to be one cabbage butterfly caterpillar. In one night he ate almost every leaf. It was not a big plant yet but still...I picked him off and tossed him. There are planty of other things to eat in the yard.

Aussie, next year I will be 60. I am not sure I want to lose
half of my taste buds.LOL! Everything has started to go down south. (physically) On the positive side I have gone down 10 sizes in the past two years.
My husbands says he saw that the libraries will open this week. I have quite a few audio books I've listened to twice. It'll be good to get others. I'm adicted.

You are correct, Aussie. Keeping one happy is a full time job. On the other hand I sometimes think he's two. Last year when our A/C went he said we didn't need one. This year when it'll be a real pain getting one put in he had to have one. He keeps me on my toes. Well at least I don't look quite as short as I would otherwise.
