When my brother was in Germany someone took him to the church where it showed the entries of our ancestors that were born there. He really enjoyed talking with the people there.
Amazing how currencies differ from country to country.
I was overwhelmed at the response I got to my prayer request as was my husband. Thank you all so very much. Tomorrow is the cat scan and ultrasound and had to have an ecg today, so it is all happening lol, peprhaps not exactly what I would have liked, but all in the master plan. My dear aussie.....first of all I must wish you good luck for this medical exam, I hope that the result won't be as bad as you think...i keep my fingers crossed!!!
The german money is now euros, but never saw that type of antique paper money ;(thank goodness!! Otherwise I would not even be here to write this!!!! )

I've had a cat scan, ultrasound and EKG. Even have had an ateriorgram. Two nurses I was ugh! and grrrr.
Dear God, Please put your healing hands on aussies, let her be able to feel your loving touch. Give her and her husband the wisdom, strength, courage and understanding to get them through. Let them both know that they can always lean on you that you are always there.

My words keep having "n's" dropped in front of them. I'll start a sentence and an n will show up and it has nothing to do with which letter the word started with. It usually happens in response in the my conversations screen.
I wonder how old these banknotes are. They look to be in really great shape - it looks like there were issued by various state banks and not a (I'm guessing) national currency. These are for incredibly small amounts - when I was in Germany in the early 1990s, 10 Pfennige would have been about $0.06 (US).
