Nlb, per wikipedia the name 'giant' panda is used to distinguish it from the smaller Red Panda (not closely related). Giant Panda males can weigh up to 350# and be 4-6 feet long; Red Pandas are much smaller, males being about 25" and about 8-13#; And there's your nature lesson for the day! ;-)

350 lbs? That sounds gigantic to me, Not exactly the cuddly little bear I like to think of for such cute creatures. Thanks for the lesson.
