OK world--- this is a mirror image of my Jack, who has cancer. Such a handsome, happy, & good boy he is. Never in too great pain to wag his tail. We go to Vet on Wednesday--wish us luck & please pray for me. This will be a hard day--but that unconditional love is so hard to get (and keep).
I'm so sorry BayGrannie. Will be thinking of you & Jack and hoping for the best.

My prayer has already been said. I really feel for you. I have an eleven year old Bishon and I love him so much. I am all by myself and he is like a little friend running around here. I worry about him getting sick and leaving me. He loves me as much as I love him and I can't leave the room without him at my feet. My prayers are with you.

Our thoughts and prayers go with you. This is always a difficult decision to make when they are part of your family.

It's so hard to lose a pet, but you don't want him to suffer either. My heart goes out to you. I know you will do what is right for Jack.

You and Jack are in my thoughts and prayers. I lost my Sadie (blonde cocker spaniel) several years back and still miss her. She was so sweet. Hoping for better results for you & Jack

BayGrannie, you're facing probably the toughest decision any owner of a fur baby has to make. I had to make that decision once and, although my then-fur baby could not have lived with the situation he had, there was no other choice. There are such good memories of our babies that live in our hearts forever. Prayers for your strength and peace. Love.

Who couldn't love a face like that--Jack is now 12-1/2 years old for a big boy that is an excellent life span. His sister, Sassie, passed 2 years ago. You know, for all the pain I've been thru...having ALL your thoughts & prayers are actually making me feel some kind of glow. I think baby Jesus is taking care of us. Blessings to all,

Oh thank you all--you know I meant it when I said I felt a heavenly glow when the prayers you all sent made it to heaven...thanks for sending me some peace during this time.
Lovely but hairy dog - would be a bit of a job keeping his hair off everything, especially black pants!!!

"When you're hot, you're hot; when you're not, you're not." Flip Wilson
"Be curious, not judgmental." ~ Walt Whitman
Ironically being 'judgmental' means we're no longer open to making an open-minded judgment, we have preconceptions and are no longer curious and open to learning. There's a clear difference between being judgmental and making a judgment; we can't sit on the fence the whole time, we'd be good for nothing if we weren't able to make a decision based on informed opinion and our heartfelt values (rather than assumption or prejudice). But even then, we do best to keep an open mind. Unknown.

There is a lady in her 90s that goes to the coffee house my husband is playing at tonight. She told me the way to stay young is to never stop learning, read a Bible verse everyday and always prayer. She is also one of the least judgemental people I know. So there might be something right with the quote that Unknown made!
Good night, and sweet Dreams Aussie! Blessings and Hugs :)

I agree that we need to keep an open mind - just don't keep it so open that your brains fall out!
A beautiful animal. I love goldens although I have never really had one. Years ago when I was in tn the USAF my mother got Apup for my kids but it met with an unfortunate accident before I had the chance to see it..
I am wishing you lots of luck and blessings! Hugs :)
