It's in rows so it's been planted and looks like grass so it's a grain of some kind. The green of the blades is so bright and the rest of the picture so grey it looks like an old fashioned black and white photo which has been tinted. I can remember doing that to photos my dad took before color photography was affordable. My dad had his own darkroom and enlarger and used to develop his own pictures. I can remember helping him mix the hypo.
Anybody else remember tinting black and white photos?
Hope you days run in straight lines to a rich harvest.
I have a picture of me in a blue dress and a scrap of the material that is pink. My mom told the photographer to do the dress in blue to bring out my blue eyes that were turning green.

The only thing real is the length of my hair. The picture proves my hair was once long enough for me to sit on. It was cut soon after the picture.

Yes, I do, my dad also had his own dark room, he taught me to do the tinting, he also so had several prize black and white photos. I still have his last camera and all the lenses and filters he like to use.

My brother has all the stuff from my dad. I have an old Brownie from when my aunt died. I never tried to use it but it's wonderful to look at. It folds into a little case and has the telescoping bellows feature the old cameras had.

HOOKY. Hi pixipixil. I was on a troopship and one of my mates had a tinting kit. It was so popular he had used it all up before we even reached the Suez Canal.

It's fun to do that. I was so young then I never got the photos to look right but I loved trying.

I remember doing that back in the stone ages in High School. The room where we developed the pictures we took seemed so dark to me.

Pixi, where would you be able to find film for the old brownie? I remember them so well. Wish I still had mine.

I don't know about film for old cameras. I think there's still film out there. I have two Pentax film cmaeras and a Cannon Rebel but I only use my digitals now. I really should learn to fine tune picture taking but I'm always in such a hurry IO just go with the automatic settings.

No. It was my fathers. He took portraits. It takes 4X5 sheet film and is a real antique since it still works perfectly and is still in like new condition.
This took me a little over a minute. Theoretically, the 44-piece should only take a little over double the time, or about four minutes, but lately my puzzle solving time has been around 7 or 8 minutes. Hmm.
As Kermit sings "It's not easy being green" nor is an almost totally green puzzle lol.

Never rains but it pours huh folks. But God is in control and knows the outcome of any negative things in our lives. God bless all of you. Take care. Hugs.
