The daily was a painting like the mountains in the distance of this photo but with a different color scheme. We have always had a home near water and this valley and river are particularly beautiful.

This was a hard puzzle for me, but I enjoyed completing the puzzle. I had to do a little research on Guilin, China. Guilin (Standard Zhuang: Gveilinz; alternately romanized as Kweilin) is a prefecture-level city in the northeast of China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region....The city has long been renowned for its scenery of karst topography. Guilin is in south China, about 500 km (300 mi) northwest from Hong Kong. The most convenient and popular option is the direct high-speed train, taking about 3 hours. Guilin is 44 miles from Yangshuo.
Most people first go to Guilin by air, train, or bus, and then go on to Yangshuo.

Thank you workined5522! I was wondering where this was. It is beautiful. I have never been to China. It is unlikely I will ever go, but it has a lot of natural beauty.
