That's a very good quote, Elijah. Most of us just give up because we know we can't do something "great, " but great good can come from lots of small good actions.
Not a person in sight. This must have been taken before the era of selfies. My brother-in-law and his wife live in South Korea. They have just recently been moved to nursing homes but for many years enjoyed the beautiful culture and landscapes of this country.
They wanted us to move to Korea but we have not left the US or even gone to visit. We didn't have the money when we were young and strong and now we are too old and they are senile. Their daughter, a chiropracter, lives in the US and when she visited them some years ago (5 or 10) it cost her ten thousand dollars and that was just for her, and I imagine she stayed with them.
As an artist who loves to do landscapes I can appreciate how living in Tahiti solidified the art of Gaughin into something unique and wonderful. I would have loved to access the eastern Asian mountains and coasts...not to mention the gardens and temples.
Wishing you a day of fullfillment.
Thanks for citing which cut you used. I do that often and wish more puzzlers would.
